The teaching of Brother Eli's exposition on the control of God over our faith. This teaching is rooted in the scriptures. In 2 Thessalonians 2 verse 11 to 12. Also in Proverbs 16 verse 9. Jeremiah 10 verse 23. James 4 verse 7. And Philippians 2 verse 13.
All these Bible scriptures offer an important perspective. Which gives us insights between divine guidance and choice made by human.
Brother Eli's message underscores for us important truths in the Bible. Which one of them is God's sovereignty? Which works in harmony with our submission as believers? Brother Eli's says when we yield to God's will, it becomes the pioneer of our lives, directing our path towards God. a passive form as a believer but an active choice to keep so ready to God's commandment.
Here is the warning in the book of 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12, This passage is very striking but the early explanation that when we judge the truth in favor of unrighteousness or unholiness this leads us to a situation where God permit us and call us to self-examination.
This also highlights this also gives us the consequence of choosing our own path instead of the one God created for us. We still receive hope in this in this message which lies in the promise of God in Philippians 2:13 that when we submit God also works within us to fulfill his purpose in our life on earth.
So we have the duality of choice and also the consequence of breaking these choices is also empowering. This also shows that we have free we have got the freedom which comes from aligning with the direction of God. Proverbs 16 verse 9 and Jeremiah 10 verse 23 also confirm this.
So in this teaching brother Eli is trying to challenge us to reflect on our life daily. The decision we make, the choices we make, the things we do, the actions we carry out, we should reflect on it. Are we submitting to God? Are we allowing God to have his way in our life, to guide our faith, our actions?
Or are we just stubbornly living life according to our own way and how we see, think it should He has already called us to resist the devil, which is in James chapter 4 verse 7. So this is a physical guide for living under the divine guidance, but not follow the footsteps of the devil.
I must say this message has really inspired me to renew my commitment and choice that aligns to God's purpose in my life, that I should trust that God controls. Be to a secure and destiny with purpose.
