Here are the things I learnt from the teaching:
It is our obligationFind out what is good, we should prove all things right and hold fast what is good. The word of God in the Bible is standard if a preacher deviate from the word of God we should know such preacher is not of God.
It is our obligation to cleave to what is good .
1john 4:1 we should beware of false preachers who claim they hav the Holy Spirit in them, but we should try every spir to know if the spirit is of God.
As children of God we should make prayers our priority because it is who commands us to pray, when we pray we are calling on the name of God and we will be saved.
We should not pray like the hypocrites because they have their rewards from men, God doesn’t listen to evil people.
Prayer is a private matter between you and God. And when you pray there is a manner at which you should pray, do not keep repeating words, God is not a difficult God, once u speak He hears you, even before you speak He already knows your pain.
In Greek kneeling down means tithemi, kaw-rah, also pip-to means fell on his face, that is praying in an horizontal posture, this is an act of humility. The Bible describes the posture Christ prayed as tithemi and pip-to.
Matthew 26:39 this verse described how Jesus Christ prayed, Jesus prayed on His knee facing the ground.
A woman should have a covering on her head, but a man shirt not cover his head when he covers his head he dishonor his head,
The head of Christ is God.
The head of a man is Christ.
The head of the woman is her husband to show there's authority over her.
The woman was created for the man.
MY FORMAL BELIEVE
Have always thought the covering on a woman’s head is her scarf , hat or cap. But with Brother Eli’s teaching I understand that what the Bible was talking about is not the scarf or hat.
HOW THIS TEACHING AFFECTS MY DAILY LIFE
I will make praying my lifestyle and when I pray it will be in my closet except when I’m in the gathering so I won’t be like the hypocrites.
I won’t use vain repetition when I pray because Brother Eli has taught us that God is not had to talk to.
