Here are things I learnt from the teaching
The teaching was about prayer: Prayer is a request it is not storytelling, prayer should be simple and not repetition of words, as Christians we are to pray without ceasing, when we pray in the right way we can be sure our prayers will be heard by God.
God is always delight in the prayers of the the righteous but the prayer of the wicked is like an abomination to Him.
There are people who do not pray, we are to pray before doing anything, before we sleep, eat, or step out of our house.
For our prayers to be answered by God we also need to purify our hearts, according to the teaching of Brother Eli, he read from the Bible and made us understand that out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts and these things defiles a man. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, when the earth is evil, evil will proceed out of your mouth and also I. Your actions.
God is delight when an upright person pray to Him, God is not unjust judge, He will avenge his hose who cry to Him. Our prayers should be simple, use no vain repetition when you pray, make your prayer brief, pricies, and not repetitive, before you speak God listens.
God listen to man who have no evil heart, the word of God must be kept in our heart, it purifies the heart when it purifies your heart obey it, follow Gods instructions. The condition given to us by God are not difficult but we need to purify our heart first for your prayers to be answered. Then obey God completely,
The face of God is against evil but His eyes are on the righteous, your heart can be purified through the tru the word of God is the truth. The works of flesh should not be kept in your heart.
