Here are the points I learnt from the MCGI Cares program:
Equal opportunity should be given to all men, there are issues with equality among men
Proverbs 22;2 it is God who created the rich and the poor. If our fingers are of the same length it will be difficult to use them.
The rich doesn’t want the poor to be like them,
The poor has many ability over the rich, the poor has many advantages as no one will rob them of their resources.
You don’t have to feel bad Because you are poor, But still give thanks to God. Do good to everyone whenever you have the opportunity to do good.
It is important for us to do good no matter our statuses in life.
While we are alive we should take our time to do good because all our good deeds will be recorded by God. All we do will be recorded in the book of life. Whatever your hand does do it with all your heart God is not unrighteous to forget your labour of love.
When God has blessed your do not turn your brethren away who ask you for something. You should be able to share your food with your brethren especially during the pandemic that is affecting many of our brethren.
1corithians 11;1 we should consider our brethren before ourselves, the love Christ have for us do not seek His own first, in the law of Christ others come first before us.
FORMAL BELIEVE
I used to think that been poor is a very bad thing and there’s nothing to be happy about being poor, and when you are poor you must work harder to be rich.
HOW THE TEACHING AFFECTS MY DAILY LIFESTYLE
From this teaching I have learnt to put others first and that will be my lifestyle from now, just as the MCGI cares program has taught us to always do good to all men and show to to our brethren, I will not seek my own above my brethren. I will love and care for my brethren and help whenever I have the opportunity to do so.
