As Christians, we have to accept that we will really encounter tribulations on Earth and even persecution as a result of our Faith.
But greediness of man is the cause of injustice on Earth; the poor being poorer and the rich accumulating vast amounts of fortune and wealth which their family up to the tenth generation will not be able to consume anymore, but they don’t have that virtue of love and compassion for the poor. These resources are wasted but they will never think it worthwhile to cater to the needy and the helpless. So you have a scenario where a few have way too much while many do not have any.
John 16:33;
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Our Lord did not hide it from us, He issued a warning that there would be tribulations, but it's great to know that Jesus Christ offers encouragement and triumph in times like that, especially for believers.
So as Christians, we willl really encounter tribulations on Earth, it is inevitable. It is not because of our sin but because of the sin of the entire human population.
Greediness is the reason for our poverty and that is very much prevalent in our times.
