The Bible teaches us that doing good to all men is not just a kind gesture but a command from God.
Galatians 6:10, it says, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
This verse reminds us that kindness and goodness should extend beyond our immediate circle of friends or church members. Whether rich or poor, friend or stranger, everyone deserves to experience the love of Christ through our actions. Doing good can be as simple as offering help, speaking kindly, or showing compassion in moments of need.
Jesus Christ, during His time on earth, consistently showed goodness to all healing the sick, feeding the hungry, and forgiving sinners. He even taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), which reveals that doing good should be unconditional. Christians are called to be lights in a dark world, and one of the best ways to shine is by living a life filled with goodness. It’s through our consistent acts of love and kindness that others are drawn to God and see the true nature of the Christian faith.
