Joining the mass indoctrination service day 8 was really a huge blessing as I leant so many things from it.Our dear Man of God shared so many amazing things with us.
The first things I took note of in the course of the lecture is "LOVE" and the scriptural reference for this is Col. 3:14. As children of God we are to love one another and even extend our love to our so called enemies. We should pray for them as well. We shouldn't write them off because Jesus Himself wouldn't have done that.
Another wonderful lesson I learnt from the teaching is the need for us to do good always because doing good will help us win others over to the kingdom of God which is the kingdom of light. Without doing good or being good to others, it will become very difficult to win our friends, family, neighbours and those around us to Christ.
We were encouraged to win souls.There is joy in heaven when one soul is won to Christ (Luke 15:7), Heaven rejoices and He that wins a soul is wise according to the scripture ( Prov.11:30). We should see to it that we win souls to the kingdom from time to time.
Lastly I also picked from the lesson that we should be good examples of Christ discipline. We are being watched by others. We read in the scripture what a Bishop should look like and how he should conduct himself. His conduct must be Christlike so that Christ can be Glorified and lifted up and when this happens,Souls will be drawn to God.
