This is what I learnt from the teachings :
We should always make our request known to almighty God whenever we are praying. We must give thanks before praying to God in heaven. When we are praying we are instructed not to pray to God the way the Catholic church pray to God. The commandments of Christ is that every christian should pray to him and not by praying to mary the mother of Jesus i.e you are praying to a dead person because Mary the mother of Jesus has died long time ago. Our prayers as a Christian should be a request not telling God stories.
The disciple of Jesus Christ before they eat they always pray, our lord Jesus Christ also prayed before eating, if our lord Jesus could pray before eating who are we not to pray before eating. As a believer of the word of Christ we are also instructed to pray before going out of our comfort zone.
We have some people who called themselves christian but they only pray on their birthdays, some only pray when they are sick, some also pray when they are troubled but the holy book commanded us all to always pray. Our God is not an unjust God, our God is a righteous God, so as a Christian believer we must always pray. Some people pray everyday and recite everything for 40 days when the lord has already commanded us in his holy book that we should pray without season.
God instructed us to pray whenever we want to go to bed, we should pray when we wake up. A prayer should always be simple not the way the Catholic recite and repeat prayers everyday or make them very long. So we are instructed to always keep our prayers brief or short as possible. While you are still alive do not forget to pray and it must always be done in the morning afternoon and evening.
Everybody who call upon the lord must have a pure heart, without a pure heart the lord will not answer our prayers. For example husband and wife must honour each other, love each other but not to fight each other because that is what the bible commanded them to always do so that their prayers will be answered by God.
The conditions given by God is not difficult if our prayers wants to be answered. We have to confess our sins. You are praying to God and your heart is evil, how do you expect God to answer your prayers.
