We cannot deny the fact that the world is full of many problems and troubles. Everywhere in the world, we hear of different kinds of afflictions and calamities. All these trouble our hearts. We sometimes feel insecure and fearful. There is no one source of peace in the world.
Our Lord Jesus Christ told us that in the world, we shall have tribulations. Really, we are experiencing these tribulations in many different ways. There is no peace in the world. We cannot see peace in our wealth or our fame. There's nothing that we have in this world that is capable of making us secure and peaceful.
Since our saviour promised us peace, it is that peace of God that we have hope on. Our trust is in the word of God. The Word of God cannot fail. We should trust in God and remain calm in the face of every calamity. The peace of God is our only hope. This is why we should stay connected to God through His Word and obey all His commandments.
