What I learnt from Today's Mass Indoctrination are as follows:
The church of God is the correct name the Bible mentions for the body of Christ.
Jesus Christ said I will build my church.
So all the various church names should not be in existence.
Reading from 2nd Corinthians 1:1.
Talking about accepting Christ. It is often done this way, the pastor would ask for those that are willing to accept Christ and people would raise their hands. This shouldn't be, to accept the gospel is not by lifting up of hands, but by studying and obeying the doctrines of Christ Jesus.
Reading from 1 Corinthians 15:1-2.
So the gospel is a doctrine to be obeyed.
In Philippians 1:13
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.
The Bible n the scripture above instructs us to speak that which honour Christ as a christian.
Talking about singing, I learnt also that singing songs to God is a commandment and a doctrine we should Obey, Colossians 3:16.
