God recommend Lord Jesus Christ for us to listen to, the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ is the teaching we should listen to, not the teaching of Buddha, they would teach you something else.
Apostle Paul was once a prosecutor of the church of God before he was called and when he was called, he was baptised and his sins were washed away, he became member of the church that he used to prosecute, he became the Apostle and preach the gospel of God.
The first thing Paul did was Baptism and it's the first thing to do before joining the church but before you can be baptised, you need to listen to the word of God first and then you can be baptised, the step is important because it's the commandment of God.

Church is an institution or an entity built by God for us to join.
The church cannot end, it's eternity, it's an instrument of God to preach.
Lord Jesus Christ said "Upon the rock I will build my Church" He didn't say upon fellowship, on Baptist, etc. Christ didn't ask you to be a Jehovah witness.
Everything that belongs to God are called by the name of God, if the church belong to God, then it should be called the name of God, why is it called Lutheran Church? Why Westley church? How could church of God become Roman Catholic Church?
