Lessons I learnt from the mass indoctrination teaching of Brother Eli 16th April 2021.
Brother Eli share some points:
Fasting is an act you do together with prayer.
Fasting helps our body, it also has spiritual significance.
As you fast it is important to pray. Prayer and fasting works together.
There must be agreement between the husband and his wife before fasting, while they fast they must also pray together.
Hussbands take care of their wives, wives shouldn't turn to slaves. Only a shameless man will speak bitter words to his wife.
Husband should love his wife like he does to himself.
Proverbs 18:22
[22]Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
Ephesians 5:28
[28]So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Wives are also to respect, care and submit totally to their husbands.
Sarah is a good example to look at in the Bible she called her husband my lord.
1 Peter 3:6
[6]Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
