The good way is among the old path.
The right path is the path of the Lord.
Jeremiah 6:16
[16]Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein brethren
There are some shepherds who are referred to as greedy dogs, they look after their own way for their gain, the Bible also says by their fruits we shall know them. God is not against his children being wealthy but wealth should not be gathered in a corrupt way.
Ecclesiastes 5:10
[10]He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
What then is the old path?
Ephesians 2:10
[10]For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
The old path was prepared for us before we were born. The path we should work with, the Bible tells us we are God's workmanship created unto good works. The old path is the way of the Lord.
Hosea 14:9
[9]Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
How can you be sure you are in the old path? Through God's teachings and ordinances, these are the ways of the lord. And also by abiding with the good works the Father has sent us.
