A Christian should always be knowledgeable about the future this is because as a Christian we study the bible which is the book of prophesy.
John 14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
As Christians we should never live without a plan. That is why prophesy helps shape a Christian in the right direction. Take for example brother Eli soriano told us to have this in our mind that one day everyone is going to die whether we like it or nothing and he made reference to the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 9 vs 5
Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
This is always what we should have in mind as Christians that one day we shall leave the world and die.
