Today I want to share with you based on my experience as an entrepreneur and not just an entrepreneur but a hustling entrepreneur. The act of hustling is a propensity to work hard and get things done; ability to hustle. A lot of people are of the school of thought that it's only those who were not born with a silver spoon are the ones hustling while the reverse don't hustle but when I've come to understand that, the well to do that the rich people hustle the more in order to maintain the status or remain on top because they understood where they came from, so I picked up from there to say that when a person understands his or her background well, such will hustle the more, to set things right.
Being hustling entrepreneur entails a whole lot of restless dedication, creative thinking, eager for problem-solving and ever ready to adapt to a y challenging situation. It's not all enough to be a hustling entrepreneur but being a creative hustling entrepreneur which involves the combination of determination and innovative thinking in making your business more outstanding. A creative hustling entrepreneur is the one that is able to identify unique solution to business challenges, stay focused and adaptable while trying to leverage creativity in standing out in the market.
In my quests as a hustling entrepreneur, I've done diverse businesses, I conceived the I dear of starting POINT ON SALES (POS) business. POS is one of the lucrative business, I started the business when people didn't really know how profitable the business was, it was actually paying but I was still an undergraduate in the university, one of those factors that brought downfall to the business was the location between my school and the business location. In order to keep the two moving, I had to employed a sale personnel but I didn't know that will be more worse than I thought. After his two months working for me, he ran away with both the capital and all the money with him, I was left with nothing.
Meanwhile, still the hustling spirit was still there, I took up a part time teaching job, after teaching the first one year, I discovered huge amount of money from my savings. As an entrepreneur, savings is not just necessary but it should a culture. The amount realized was enough to start up another business so I thought of a small business I could do with the available amount but I didn't quit the teaching job since it is a part time job. So I recalled during my ICT training, I was taught of photos editing from then, I decided to start Photo Enlargements Business.
Photo Enlargement Business deal with editing, enlarge, printing and framing of photos. At since I couldn't afford the tools and some equipment, I joined some other person, we go to partnership and signing partnership deed. The business went well because were focused, determined, consistent and dedicated to the work until it was time to depart and established independently.
Being an entrepreneur is one of the most difficult decision to take because it's a journey with no guaranteed outcomes but only what it required is consistency, persistent, ever focus, readiness to work, most times staying hungry for the business to thrive. Remember, entrepreneurship is a journey with no guaranteed outcomes. Stay persistent, stay hungry, and continuously evolve to thrive in the competitive business landscape.
