Communities is open to all in Beta, visit https://beta.steemit.com/trending/hive-183770 and log in to start viewing communities - or create your own (but you have to pay 3 Steem to create a new community)
I set up the c0ff33a Community just to see what it is all about, you need to visit the community you are interested in - join it and then use the New Post button to create a community post.
As you can see above, visit the community, join it and then you can create a New Post for the community. At the moment all new posts are also displayed on your blog - so be careful if you do not want to see test posts on your blog. Once communities are fully released then the posts in the community will only be visible in the community - leaving your main blog just for you content you want to display to everyone.

The greatest challenge we face on Steem blockchain is getting our posts seen, I have always believed the simplest and best value way of doing this is by commenting on the blog posts of others, the more you engage people and interact with them the greater the chance they will visit your own blog and return the favour.
