_Hello.
I would like to tell you about my adventure of propagating my favorite plant. My mother left two large Crassula Ovata plants on the balcony in cold weather last year, causing them to freeze. He regretted it and bought it for me as a gift._
In my country, this plant is known as the money tree. It is believed that putting a coin at the bottom of the pot while planting the plant brings abundance. I haven't tried it before, but I will try this when planting the leaf I will reproduce
Not sure if I could make it, I plucked the leaf last week and placed it on the small plant pot I had filled with soil.
I sprayed water on it every two or three days. At first I didn't have much hope, but at the end of a week I saw that it was growing tiny leaves.
I would explode with happiness when I saw the sprout. I knew that succulent species reproduced from the leaf, but I never thought that the Crassula plant would sprout so easily.
Now I think it's too early to plant it. I think it is necessary to ensure that the water in the body part is completely dry. Maybe I could be wrong. I will understand this in time.
I will wait for the sprouts to grow a little more and then I will bring it together with the soil. When I saw that I had sprouted from leaves, I immediately ran and plucked four more and laid them in the ground. I reserved one for my plant-loving neighbor. I'll gift it to him when it sprouts.
Dealing with plants is really good for my soul. When I touch that soil, I feel as if all my negative energies are thrown off me. Especially being able to reproduce without buying makes it much more special for me. I am not very experienced. I gain new experiences with the care of succulent plants. If you have any suggestions, feel free to send them to me in the comment section.
I have a question I would like to ask to those of you who have experience in this field. Do you think this sprouting leaf should meet the soil now? Or should I wait a little longer?. Thank you in advance for your support and comments. See you on the next adventure.
love.
