Description
Through the crackling storms of Okko soars a being that both fascinates and terrifies us fallen ones. The Libo, as the natives call it, appears as a wingspan of pure lightning, its membrane seemingly woven from captured storm clouds. Unlike the crude flying beasts of this realm, its movements leave trails of electric echoes, creating an illusion of multiple creatures moving in perfect harmony. When it strikes, the air itself seems to hold its breath, as if nature itself fears to interrupt its deadly dance.
Its electrical essence reminds us of the divine spark, yet its hunting methods speak of something far more sinister. The way it moves through darkness, using shadow pools to emerge behind its prey.
We who fell from the Burning Depths recognize in the Libo a kindred spirit of tactical warfare. Its ability to channel electric current through multiple targets while simultaneously inducing primal terror reminds us of our old siege tactics, though implemented with a grace we never possessed. Most intriguing is how it uses fear not as a weapon of torment, but as a tool of calculated hunting, herding its prey through their own terror into perfect striking position.
Legend say:
"The Libo were once conductors of divine lightning, tasked with carrying messages between the celestial choirs. When the realms collided, they adapted their sacred duty into a hunting art, though they never lost their original purpose of connecting different beings – albeit now through chains of lightning rather than divine word."
"These creatures were born from the screams of lightning demons as they fell through the void between realms. Their fear of falling transformed into power, teaching them to weaponize terror itself. Now they hunt not from necessity, but to perfect the art of fear."
"The best defense is not being where your enemy thinks you are."
