Olá novamente Splinters, como vão vocês? Minhas batalhas estão ótimas e cá estou eu aqui de novo para mais um desafio semanal Battle Mage Secrets, e nessa semana a regra escolhida é a Equal Opportunity. É uma regra bastante vista em geral e é muito interessante para rankeadas, pois seu uso pode mudar totalmente uma composição e fazer cartas consideradas básicas se transformarem e gerarem bastante resultado dependendo da composição.
A REGRA
A regra Equal Opportunity é bastante vista em batalhas, como dito anteriormente, o que faz com que os jogadores ja tenham mais experiência utilizando ela. A regra se baseia em conceder á TODAS CARTAS da composição dos jogadores a habilidade Opportunity, que da a carta o poder de atacar de qualquer posição e faz com que ela ataque a carta do adversário com menos vida, ou seja, sendo muito útil contra composições de cartas que possuem pouca vida e muito dano, pois todas as atacarão e sobrará apenas os tanques. Acredito que é uma regra que faz o jogador pensar bastante e deixa a dinâmica do jogo mais interessante, sendo assim é uma regra que adoro que esteja no game.
O QUE FAZER
Chegamos no momento que eu falo o que eu acho interessante fazer quando essa regra está ativa, acredito que o mais propício a se fazer de começo é se atentar em não pegar cartas que possuem como estatísticas bastante dano e pouca vida, pois serão justamente essas que vão ser focadas nas batalhas e sairão cedo da batalha. Logo, acho inteligente pegar cartas com um dano de ataque maior e que mesmo assim possuem bastante vida para serem pouco focadas e conseguirem absorver essa pressão executada, cartas mágicas e atiradores também podem ser úteis nessa regra se utilizadas inteligentemente, porém tem que se pensar que essas cartas ja dão dano de qualquer posição, então talvez seja mais interessante dar um pouco mais de prioridade para cartas com dano de ataque, porém isso de varia de batalha para batalha, pois também tem que se atentar com a quantidade de mana permitida na batalha.
VAMOS PARA A BATALHA
Agora falarei de como foi minha batalha com essa regra de batalha ja comentada. Os 2 competidores aceitaram e a partida começou, o número de mana disponível para essa partida foi de 29 de mana, sendo considerada uma partida de custo médio e que possibilita bastante estratégias a serem feitas. Enquanto eu escolhi o invocador Thaddius Brood, sendo este uma carta do elemento monstro que tem como atributo tirar 1 barra de vida e 1 barra de dano mágico, meu oponente escolheu a carta Obsidian como invocadora, que possibilita a adição de 1 de dano mágico para todas suas cartas, sendo assim, ganhei uma pequena vantagem nessa escolha.
Então minha escolha ficou dessa forma:
Como primeira escolha da minha composição, escolhi o tanque Cursed Windeku, achei uma escolha interessante por ele ser uma carta que possui bastante vida e um dano de ataque considerado alto para seu custo, sendo uma carta que vai conseguir chegar nos mais frágeis com facilidade e assim abusar da regra de batalha. Sua habilidade Thorns também me ajudará no decorrer da batalha conforme minhas cartas frágeis saem da partida, sendo uma escolha a longo prazo.
Já a minha segunda escolha para a partida foi a carta Silent Sha-Vi que é uma escolha que eu sempre opto em pegar devido seu alto custo benefício, custando apenas 5 de mana e possuindo 2 de dano de ataque e 5 barras de vida, sendo uma carta que sobrevive bastante enquanto aplica bastante dano. Achei interessante o combo de sua habilidade Sneak com a hablidade Opportunity incluída na batalha, logo seria uma carta forte que vai atacar os monstros mais fracos de meu oponente.
Minha terceira escolha para essa batalha foi o atirador Soul Strangler, sendo uma carta bastante conhecida no elemento monstro ela é uma ótima carta utilizada para causar bastante dano no oponente e ter um custo relativamente baixo. Por possuir 2 de dano á distância, achei interessante possuir ela na minha composição para combar com a habilidade Opportunity e destruir mais rapidamente meu adversário, porém talvez eu tenha sido ingênuo em achar que ela duraria mais na partida.
Minha quarta escolha para a composição teve a mesma lógica da minha última escolha explicada, achei que seria interessante colocar esse monstro por ele causar bastante dano ás tropas adversárias enquanto ele não possui tanta pouca vida assim. Sua habilidade True Strike é bastante útil para ele realmente causar seu dano sem errar, além de ele adquirir a habilidade Opportunity que o faria atacar as cartas que realmente importam da composição adversária.
Minha penúltima escolha para meu time foi uma das minhas cartas favoritas de Splinterlands, a Magi Necrosi. Por ser um mago com bastante dano e 2 habilidades fortes, sempre a escolho para ser um causador de dano importante em meu deck, acredito que ele possa causar bastante dano e por não ter tão pouca vida, consiga sobreviver mais tempo enquanto ataca as tropas mais frágeis. Além disso, ele possui a habilidade Camouflage que o ajuda a sobreviver bem mais tempo que o comum.
Para minha última escolha e não menos importante temos a carta Corpse Fiend, que a escolhi pelo simples fato de custar 0 de mana, então sendo uma carta que é utilizada apenas para atrair atenção no início do jogo para minhas cartas importantes não sofrerem com ataque no início. Por não ter custo nenhum, é uma carta que sempre escolho e gosto de colocar na última posição para defender minha penúltima carta, gosto bastante dela e acho bastante útil.
ROUND 1
O primeiro round começou e assim as habilidades dos invocadores foram ativadas, logo consegui tirar o dano mágico adicional que a invocadora adversária alocou a suas cartas, além de tirar 1 barra de vida de suas cartas. Como podem ver meu tanque começou eliminando a primeira carta do deck inimigo e minha Magi Necrosi já começou atacando a carta Mycelic Slipspawn do oponente, por ele ter uma habilidade que faz ele ser o primeiro atacado.
ROUND 2
Como podem ver o segundo round se iniciou comigo com desvantagem numérica, e isso se deve á boa estratégia do meu adversário de ter uma carta com a habilidade Taunt, pois basicamente é um counter para a habilidade Opportunity e consegue fazer as tropas importantes dele sobrevier. Além disso seu monstro Goblin Psychic consegue curar essa carta que possui Tant e a fazendo durar bem mais tempo que o comum, logo foi uma estratégia bastante efetiva.
ROUND 3
Começando o terceiro round já percebemos que essa batalha já estava complicada para mim, como citado anteriormente a estratégia de uma carta com Taunt e uma que cura tanques foi bem pensada para essa regra, pois tira a efetividade das que causam mais dano, além disso, por ele apenas possuir cartas de dano mágico, meu Cursed Windeku não conseguiu trocar sua habilidade e não foi tão efetivo quanto ele poderia ser. Ainda tinha esperanças por confiar bastante em minhas cartas restantes, porém já estava um pouco difícil para sair com a vitória devido essa estratégia de meu adversário.
ROUND FINAL
Nesse último round percebi que já não tinha mais como, por ter sofrido no início do jogo com minhas cartas menos duráveis, acredito que não consegui abusar muito dessa regra e assim perdi a batalha. Porém, ainda acredito que foi positiva, pois aprendi bastante em como posso sair vitorioso nessa regra e o que errei para não ter conseguido sair com a vitória, acho que meu oponente teve bastante mérito nessa batalha e eu pequei em alguns requisitos que já vou me corrigir para a próxima batalha Splinter.
CONCLUSÃO
Jogando uma batalha utilizando essa regra, eu percebi que é bastante importante se atentar com cartas com menos dano e mais desprotegidas, e consegui ver algumas estratégias que podem ser muito fortes utilizando essa regra. THE RULE
The Equal Opportunity rule is often seen in battles, as previously mentioned, which means that players already have more experience using it. The rule is based on granting ALL CARDS in the players' composition the Opportunity ability, which gives the card the power to attack from any position and causes it to attack the opponent's card with less health, in other words, being very useful against compositions. of cards that have little life and a lot of damage, as they will all attack them and only the tanks will be left. I believe it's a rule that makes the player think a lot and makes the dynamics of the game more interesting, so it's a rule that I love being in the game.
WHAT TO DO
We have arrived at the moment when I talk about what I find interesting to do when this rule is active, I believe that the most appropriate thing to do at the beginning is to be careful not to pick up cards that have high damage and low life as statistics, as these will be precisely the ones that they will be focused on battles and will leave battle early. Therefore, I think it's smart to pick cards with higher attack damage and that still have enough life to be less focused and able to absorb this pressure, magic cards and shooters can also be useful in this rule if used intelligently, but you have to think that These cards already deal damage from any position, so it might be more interesting to give a little more priority to cards with attack damage, but this varies from battle to battle, as you also have to pay attention to the amount of mana allowed in the battle.
LET'S GO TO BATTLE
Now I will talk about how my battle was with this battle rule already mentioned. The 2 competitors accepted and the match began, the number of mana available for this match was 29 mana, being considered a medium cost match and which allows a lot of strategies to be made. While I chose the summoner Thaddius Brood, which is a monster element card that has the attribute of taking 1 bar of life and 1 bar of magical damage, my opponent chose the Obsidian card as the summoner, which allows the addition of 1 magical damage to all your cards, so I gained a small advantage in this choice.
So my choice was like this:
As the first choice of my composition, I chose the tank Cursed Windeku, I found it an interesting choice because it is a card that has a lot of life and attack damage considered high for its cost, being a card that will be able to reach the most fragile with ease and thus abuse the battle rule. Its Thorns ability will also help me later in the battle as my fragile cards leave the game, making it a long-term choice.
My second choice for the match was the Silent Sha-Vi card, which is a choice that I always choose due to its high cost-benefit, costing only 5 mana and having 2 attack damage and 5 life bars, being a card that survives a lot while dealing a lot of damage. I found the combo of its Sneak ability with the Opportunity ability included in the battle interesting, so it would be a strong card that will attack my opponent's weakest monsters.
My third choice for this battle was the shooter Soul Strangler, being a well-known card in the monster element, it is a great card used to cause a lot of damage to the opponent and have a relatively low cost. Because it has 2 ranged damage, I found it interesting to have it in my composition to combine with the Opportunity skill and destroy my opponent more quickly, but perhaps I was naive in thinking that it would last longer in the match.
My fourth choice for the composition had the same logic as my last choice explained, I thought it would be interesting to include this monster because it causes a lot of damage to opposing troops while it doesn't have that little health. His True Strike ability is very useful for him to really deal damage without missing, in addition to acquiring the Opportunity ability that would make him attack the cards that really matter in the opponent's composition.
My penultimate pick for my team was one of my favorite cards from Splinterlands, Magi Necrosi. Because he is a mage with a lot of damage and 2 strong skills, I always choose him to be an important damage dealer in my deck, I believe he can do a lot of damage and because he doesn't have so little life, he can survive longer while attacking more troops. fragile. Furthermore, he has the Camouflage ability that helps him survive much longer than usual.
For my last choice and not least we have the Corpse Fiend card, I chose it for the simple fact that it costs 0 mana, so it is a card that is only used to attract attention at the beginning of the game so that my important cards do not suffer from attacks in the start. Because it has no cost, it is a card that I always choose and I like to place it in the last position to defend my penultimate card, I really like it and I find it very useful.
ROUND 1
The first round began and so the summoners' abilities were activated, I was soon able to take the additional magical damage that the opposing summoner allocated to her cards, in addition to taking 1 life bar from her cards. As you can see, my tank started by eliminating the first card from the enemy deck and my Magi Necrosi started attacking the opponent's Mycelic Slipspawn card, as it has an ability that makes it the first to be attacked.
ROUND 2
As you can see, the second round started with me with a numerical disadvantage, and this is due to my opponent's good strategy of having a card with the Taunt ability, as it is basically a counter to the Opportunity ability and manages to make his important troops survive. Furthermore, your Goblin Psychic monster can heal this card that has Tant and make it last much longer than usual, so it was a very effective strategy.
ROUND 3
Starting the third round, we realized that this battle was already complicated for me, as previously mentioned, the strategy of a card with Taunt and one that heals tanks was well thought out for this rule, as it takes away the effectiveness of those that cause more damage, in addition, Because it only has magic damage cards, my Cursed Windeku was unable to change its ability and was not as effective as it could be. I still had hope because I trusted a lot in my remaining cards, but it was already a little difficult to win due to my opponent's strategy.
FINAL ROUND
In this last round I realized that there was no way anymore, having suffered at the beginning of the game with my less durable cards, I believe that I was unable to abuse this rule too much and thus lost the battle. However, I still believe it was positive, because I learned a lot about how I can emerge victorious in this rule and what I did wrong to not be able to emerge victorious, I think my opponent had a lot of merit in this battle and I failed in some requirements that I will now address. fix for the next Splinter battle.
