As I told you in part 1 and part 2 of this series of posts, among other things, I had to turn around on the path due to an unexpected storm and I came across wild chamois specimens.
YouTube Short glimpsing a male chamois climbing through the chasm while walking:
As I also mentioned in previous articles, the chamois may seem harmless but a bump from a male can not only hurt you but could also make you fall into the chasms.

Best advice is to keep your distance and enjoy the tranquility that they transmit while they graze in their domains.
YouTube Short of another chamois grazing:
But the chamois are not the only wild animals that you could find here since, in the extension of the Picos de Europa National Park (area of 67127 hectares) it's estimated that there are about 300 specimens of brown bears and about 50 specimens of wolves, golden eagles, bearded vultures and common vultures, among other species.
However, the chances of an encounter with bears and wolves is very low.

There was a golden eagle prowling the area while doing the route but couldn't take any pictures of it.

(After watching the YouTube Short, whose call do you think that was from: a golden eagle or a howler monkey? 馃槃)

When I returned to the starting town, I noticed that I had crossed the border between Asturias and Le贸n on foot, and this is indicated by a sign on one side of the mountain.
YouTube Short from the exact point of the border:
That point became famous thanks to a Spanish television show called Planeta Calleja, in which Jes煤s Calleja (Spanish mountaineer, adventurer and presenter) takes a famous guest on an extreme adventure in the middle of nature.
The heights of the precipices, without guardrails, during most of the route, are constantly impressive.

After finishing this route and reaching back to the town, I had a nice lunch in this nice tabern that I recommend to you.
