How are you doing?
I am good. It´s getting really cold here the last weeks. It´s an extreme change in weather. From 39 degrees down to 13. I need some time to get used to this. 😄
But it didn´t keep us from doing stuff outside.
On saturday we went to a corn maze.
It was a birthday present we gave to friends. And I really loved beeing there, it was so cool!
That´s why I wanted to make a post about it. Normally I don´t really post about traveling or freetime fun stuff, but this one was good!
We thought about going to one of these mazes for years, but we never did.
Then we saw that they had a special event where you were able to go into the maze in the evening when it got dark, so we spontaneously went there.
We started when it was still bright outside (well there was no sun, only clouds), but it got quite dark quickly and this was really fun. I watched so many horror movies which are related to corn mazes, so I felt a little bit scared. 😄 But sometimes I just love to feel like this. 😅
If you like this kind of stuff, you should watch "In The Tall Grass" btw. It´s quite crazy but I liked it alot.
Getting back to the maze. They had alot of stuff built around it out of pumpkins and it was beautiful. The pictures don´t really show how nice it was looking in real and the atmosphere this all created.
Well off we went into the maze. We needed to find 4 stations and collect stamps there. We had no idea how long it would take us, but this one was biiiig! It took us 1,5 hours to find all stations.
We brought some mulled wine and snacks into the maze, so it was even more fun! Mulled wine in the cold is one of the best things. 😋
There were alooot of different paths, and a big observation deck in the middle of the maze. And finally we found all stations.
When it was really dark, we decided to make a spontaneous halloween photoshoot. 😄

Look at the next one. This is creepy. What is that guy in the background? 😂
When we were out of the maze. We looked at a picture of it, to see how big it is and how the shape of it is. Cause you have no chance guessing this when you are inside.
It was a fun evening and I hope to be able to do this again some day! These moments with friends are worth so much!
