On my recent visit to Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, I discovered the hidden gem known as President's Beach Point. This day stands out in my memory as one of the most significant moments of my trip, largely due to the serene and divine ambiance that enveloped this secluded beach spot.
Unlike the bustling main beach points of the town, President's Beach Point offered a rare, crowd-free experience that allowed us to immerse ourselves fully in the area's natural beauty.
Our journey to this tranquil haven began with a 30-minute drive from the main town. Despite the slightly harsh weather, the view that greeted us upon arrival made every moment of the journey worthwhile.
Nestled between hills on one side and the expansive blue sea on the other, the beach presented a picturesque scene that felt like a slice of paradise. The hill provided a stunning backdrop, while the sea stretched out endlessly, its waves creating a soothing symphony that resonated with the peaceful surroundings.
Adding to the charm of President's Beach Point were the small forests that dotted the area, predominantly filled with mangrove trees.
These lush green patches contributed to the overall tranquility, offering a perfect contrast to the vibrant blue of the sea. The absence of tourists further enhanced the peaceful environment, making it feel as though we had discovered a private sanctuary where we could truly unwind and connect with nature.
We settled onto a sea bench to take in the breathtaking views, feeling the gentle sea breeze and listening to the rhythmic crashing of the waves.
My husband and son were quick to venture into the water, their laughter echoing across the beach as they splashed and played. Watching them brought me immense joy, and I indulged in a refreshing green coconut, savoring its sweet taste as I absorbed the serene beauty around me.
The scenery was nothing short of mesmerizing. The blue waves, gently rolling towards the shore, combined with the verdant greenery, created a visual feast that was both calming and invigorating. It will remain in my memory for a long time.
President's Beach Point is also known for its paragliding opportunities.
Although we didn't partake in this adventure, we were thrilled to watch a few paragliders soaring above us, their colorful parachutes adding splashes of color to the sky. Their graceful movements against the backdrop of the sea and sky were a sight to behold, adding an element of excitement to our tranquil afternoon.
This visit was a reminder of the incredible beauty that nature has to offer. It was a day filled with simple pleasures – the company of loved ones, the taste of fresh coconut, the sound of waves, and the sight of untouched natural landscapes.
