LOCATION
Ikogosi warm spring is located at Ikogosi in Ekiti state, Nigeria. It is situated at Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
ABOUT IKOGOSI WARM SPRING
Ikogosi Warm Spring is a tourist centre where cold and warm water meets. The warm water has its source at Ikogosi as well as the cold water. They meet at the confluence(the place where two rivers, streams, or other continuously flowing bodies of water meet and become one).

The warm water has a temperature of about 70°c at its source while it has a temperature of 37°c on getting to confluence point. This is so because it has been diluted with warm water coming from different source at that same IKOGOSI so, the temperature has to drop to a lower one. The two water bodies(warm and cold) run side by side before meeting at confluence. Though, not too close to each other.

The government ensured that there are some other facilities available at the centre aside the warm spring. There is swimming pool there and a cool bar that people can go there to relax after sightseeing.
REASONS WHY PEOPLE VISITS TOURIST CENTRE
- To explore new cities.
- You get a lot of exposure.
- You meet people with different culture, language and believe.
- Having heard about a tourist centre, people tend to witness it with their own eye.
- Some people go to tourist centres for vacation and at their leisure time.
WHY I CHOOSE IKOGOSI WARM SPRING
There are a lot of tourist centre in my locality but I choose Ikogosi Warm Spring because, it is the only tourist centre where we have hot and cold water forming warm water. It is unique, special and different.
