I am very pleased to write to you and participate again in an edition of CCC`s Street Art Contest that @digi-me organizes every week.
This week I have been again in the city of Valladolid which is located in the autonomous community of Castilla y León (Spain). Valladolid for several years has been one of the Spanish cities that has bet more on urban art as you can see in the list of urban art murals that collects one of the city's leisure web pages.
This week I have been again in the city of Valladolid and I have taken the opportunity to approach another of the murals that are promoted on the website of urban art of the city. As a reminder, I leave you a picture and the link to the post I wrote a few weeks ago and that has some relation with the message that conveys the mural that I present this week.
CCC`s Street Art 112 contribution
The mural that I bring you this week is located on Fray Luis de León street in the city of Valladolid, just a few meters from the mural that I presented in the 112th edition of the contest. This time the work is by the muralist Dyca and is part of the project called 'The fight' which seeks to raise awareness among the population about the care and respect for nature. At the same time, it is similar to the mural that I presented a few weeks ago in the use of an animal together with a woman to launch the message of the mural.
The mural is divided into two different parts. On one side the image of a woman hugging a fox as a symbol of love and respect for nature. On the other hand, in the lower part, two desert roses are represented.
For the realization of this post I was documenting about the work and I found the following YouTube link where you can see the steps followed by the author for the elaboration of this wonderful mural.
