Hello! Hello!
My participation in the CCC street art- #259 I want to show you this mural that is close to my home and that, although I saw it being made, I didn't have my cellphone with me at that time (Can you believe it?) so I had to wait a few more days to go photograph it for you.
It is located in Barcelona- Anzoátegui- Venezuela, a region characterized by being very Catholic and we are celebrating our first Venezuelan saint. A saint that we had been longing to happen for decades and many died waiting for the announcement. For me, it is an honor to live in this time when we achieved it!

Mi participación en el CCC arte callejero- #259 les quiero mostrar este mural que está cerca de mi hogar y que, aunque vi cuando lo estaban haciendo, en esa oportunidad no traía mi celular encima (¿Pueden creerlo?) por lo que tuve que esperar otros días para poder ir a fotografiarlo para ustedes.
Está ubicado en Barcelona- Anzoátegui- Venezuela, región caracterizada por ser muy católicos y estamos celebrando nuestro primer santo venezolano. Un santo que teníamos décadas anhelando que sucediera y donde muchos murieron esperando el anuncio, para mí es un honor vivir en esta época ¡Donde lo logramos!
The protagonist is Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. Since he was a child, he was called to serve God, but life did not lead him to serve as a religious man, but rather through his knowledge of medicine. Wow! How do we mix the spiritual with the scientific? That's what makes our saint UNIQUE.
His life unfolded around the year 1900; imagine the precariousness of medicine at that time, which is why he studied in Europe, from where he brought all his knowledge to serve the poor. For this reason, he is known as the saint of the needy. Even before becoming a saint, he was already working miracles for those who sought his help.

El protagonista es el Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. Desde pequeño fue llamado al servicio de Dios, pero la vida no lo llevó al servir como religioso, sino desde su conocimiento de la medicina ¡Wao! ¿Cómo mezclamos lo espiritual con lo científico? Eso es lo que hace a nuestro santo ÚNICO.
Su vida se desarrolló por los años 1900, imaginen ustedes la precariedad de la medicina, por lo que él estudió en Europa, desde donde trajo todos sus conocimientos para colocarlos al servicio de los pobres. De allí es conocido como el santo de los necesitados. Incluso, antes de ser santo, ya hacía milagros a quienes acuden a su auxilio.
The official image of the Vatican is the doctor with his white coat and stethoscope; however, this image is also accepted, because it was characteristic to see him dressed in his immaculate black suit on the streets of Caracas, visiting his patients. The curious fact is that the only image of José Gregorio shows him entering the church, dressed this way 😊.
I would have preferred a more classic image, or one with a blue background, like those seen in the prints distributed by the church; I don't understand this art and unfortunately, I searched for the name of the artist, but it is not signed 😔.

La imagen oficial del Vaticano es el doctor con su bata y su estetoscopio; sin embargo, esta imagen también es aceptada, porque era característico verlo vestido por las calles de Caracas con su traje negro, impecable, visitando a sus pacientes. El dato curioso es que la única imagen que hay de José Gregorio, es entrando a la iglesia, vestido de esa forma 😊.
Me hubiese gustado una imagen más clásica, o en azul de fondo, como se ve en las estampas distribuidas por la iglesia; este arte ni lo comprendo y lamentablemente, busqué el nombre del artista, pero no está firmado 😔.
They did it in a set of three-story buildings, so it's HUGE! The exhibition.
It remains closed to the public, to prevent evildoers from trying to damage it. I think it's good to keep the work as pristine as it was delivered.

Lo hicieron en un conjunto de edificios de tres pisos, por lo que es ¡GIGANTE! La exposición.
Se mantiene cerrado para el público, para evitar que los amigos del mal intenten dañarlos. A mí me parece bien para poder conservar la obra tan impecable como la entregaron.
