Making the Most of Every Space
There are many stories that are hidden in the neighborhoods of our city, these days I had the opportunity to get to a neighborhood located west of the city, and after walking through its narrow streets I found this striking mural, painted on the brick wall of one of the houses and practically on top of the roof of another.
The black and white mural from a distance is very striking. I dared to take the picture while the neighbors looked at me very strangely, to be a bit polite. With them I struck up a conversation and so we broke the ice. While I was talking, they explained to me what the mural meant. I wanted to participate in this image in this well-known street art community.

Aprovechando Todos Los Espacios
Hay muchas historias que se esconden en los barrios de nuestra ciudad, en estos días tuve la oportunidad de llegar a un barrio situado al oeste de la ciudad, y después de caminar por sus callejuelas me encontré con este llamativo mural, pintado en la pared de ladrillo de unas de las casas y prácticamente encima del techo de otra.
El mural en blanco negro desde la distancia es muy llamativo. Me atreví a tomar la foto mientras que los vecinos me veían con mucha extrañeza, para ser un poco cortés. Con ellos entablé una conversación y así rompimos el hielo. Mientras que conversaba, me explicaron qué significaba el mural. Quise con ello participar en esta imagen en esta conocida comunidad de arte callejero.
The mural is located in the San Agustin neighborhood, a neighborhood well known for its strong struggles to achieve demands and have a better quality of life. Precisely, the mural is called the Family, a symbol of the many families that struggle daily with tenacity and strength to obtain their achievements in the midst of the difficulties they face every day. The author is the plastic artist Antonio Garcia, who with his work surely wanted to make a more significant call with his street art. I researched some of the data through Google images.
El mural está ubicado en el barrio San Agustín, un barrio muy conocido por sus fuertes luchas para lograr reivindicaciones y tener una mejor calidad de vida. Precisamente, el mural tiene como nombre la Familia, un símbolo de las muchas familias que luchan a diario con tesón y fortaleza para obtener sus logros en medio de las dificultades que se les presentan a diario. El autor es el artista plástico Antonio García, quien con su obra seguramente quiso hacer un llamado más significativo con su arte callejero. Algunos datos los investigué por Google imágenes.
