The Artwork: Carel Willink, Wilma met Kat (1940)
Pictured on the wall is the painting "Wilma met Kat" (Wilma with Cat) done by dutch painter Carel Willink (1900-1983). Willink has mastered several styles, but most of his paintings can be categorized under the neoclassicism and metaphysical (Like Salvador Dali) style.
The woman you see pictured here, is Wilma Jeuken (1905-1960), the woman he was married to until she passed away of a brain tumor, and their cat. The real painting can be found hanging in the Arnhem Museum.
