How are you all doing? I hope that you are fine this Sunday.
I'm not feeling great because I'm having a sore throat. There's no one to blame for it but myself. I believe it started on the other night which is the TGIF night. With so much excitement to welcome the weekend, I had some cold drinks which I had not had for a long while now. I seldom drink any cold drinks at night so my system is not prepared for it. I woke up yesterday feeling a little itch on my throat which didn't bother me because I felt like it would simply go away.
It was last night when I was already feeling other symptoms like headache and some body aches which gave me confirmation that it may lead to flu. That's when I had to take some pills in order not to make it worse. As I'm writing this post, my headache and body aches are all gone which is a relief. However, I'm still having a sore throat which is something that I expect because it won't really go away and it will last for a few days or so. I hope that it will get better until tonight so that I won't be bothersome for tomorrow during my work.
Last Friday night, I knew for sure that it would lead to me getting sick when I drink my cold drinks because it's something that I seldom do. Also, I had a tiring work week before that so I'm not in any good condition to push myself into doing something that I already know that will turn bad for me.
This experience is a good learning for me. I was able to confirm my limitation so I better take a moment to listen to my thoughts before I actually make the move. It's a good reminder for me. For now, I have to make sure that I recover fast so I won't have a hard time in the coming week of work.
