This is my FIRST EVER Splinterlands Pizza Guild Brawl Report. I've only recently joined the Pizza 2 Guild over at the PIZZA DISCORD and was introduced to the world of Guild Brawls in Splinterlands. It has been an interesting experience to say the least. 🎉🥳🎊
Guild Brawls are generally the same as Battles, but with some minor tweaks (of which I'll save for another day). Lets get right down to business as I analyze my brawls.

Facing an opponent with 400k POWER, I was severly outmatched. My setup wasn't too bad though. It came down to the last card where I eventually lost to his clearly overpowered Gladius card which had Bloodlust and Heal.

| Venari Wavesmith | 5 | 4th | Gives Armor to the whole team to absorb more damage |
| Black Dragon | 6 | 5th | Strong Unit with Life Leech and Flying. Level 2 also has Slow debuff. |
| Doctor Blight | 4 | 6th | Affliction just in case the opponent uses Heal, and Camouflage protects him. |

Even though this was a "Magic hits Armor" ruleset, my units were too strong and overpowered the opponent. Djinn Oshannus and Phantom of the Deep also dodged a good number of the opponent's ranged attacks, whereas he had no such dodge chance with my full Magic team.

I was caught by surprise at the Yodin, Serpentine Spy combination. The very first attack by my opponent took out both my Screaming Banshee and Ancient Lich. Zero chance for me in this game.

Completely outmatched my opponent. He had no chance of winning whatsoever. With "Back to Basics" ruleset, a direct pure Magic Attack bombardment with huge tanks in front were all that was needed to overwhelm him.

I finished with an even win-loss ratio of 2 wins and losses. It wasn't too shabby overall, given that some of my opponents VASTLY out levelled me. But I could have probably made some tweaks to achieve a better result. Oh well, every battle is another lesson learnt. I'll do better next time round! 👍😄
