This is the story about me, a simple person, who grew a little interest in crypto but never found its place in a community. I have always been slightly anti-social with not many friends always attracted by the new things the internet provides. The crypto world was one of them. I started to study a bit about the most famous blockchains and in a moment I found Discord world, and in consequence, Tip.cc server. There I was begging and chewing some dust airdrops as free. Maybe one day I would think that I could build something from cents. One of the biggest resources of my dust was the promo channel. People were promoting their crypto servers and throwing some cents in token airdrops. There I met this server called Hive Pizza. I joined this server with curiosity. I have always loved to eat pizza, so I was curious about that server.

Eu sempre fui um pouco anti-social, sem muitos amigos, sempre atraído pelas novidades que a internet proporciona. O mundo das criptomoedas era uma delas. Comecei a estudar um pouco sobre as blockchains mais famosas e, em certo momento, descobri o mundo do Discord e, consequentemente, o servidor Tip.cc. Lá, eu estava pedindo esmolas e pegando alguns airdrops de graça, quase como poeira. Talvez um dia eu pensasse que poderia construir algo a partir de alguns centavos. Um dos maiores recursos da minha "poeira" era o canal promo. As pessoas estavam divulgando seus servidores de criptomoedas e distribuindo alguns centavos em airdrops de tokens. Foi lá que conheci este servidor chamado Hive Pizza. Entrei nesse servidor com curiosidade. Sempre amei comer pizza, então fiquei curioso sobre aquele servidor.
In there people started to welcome me, I felt very welcomed. They started to ask me about my hive id, I answered that I had no idea what hive was. So multiple people started to talk about Hive, one person called Carlyle was funny, and got my attention. Despite explaining a bit about hive blockchain, he used to make lots of jokes, most of them unnecessary and no fun at all for me. Carlyle was a person like a jester. But he was always trying to help me with lots of things in the blockchain. He sent me some $PIZZA tokens, also some delegation to start blogging. We started to talk in private by direct messages. He had so much experience in the chain, he was in Hivefor 3-4 years and he also had a good amount of $PIZZA at stake. He had a dream of buying an island when Hive value goes up taking $PIZZA together. Getting rich about it. With all these talks I started to fall in love. Although we were living on different continents we started exchanging some caring words and I felt he loved me too.
Lá as pessoas começaram a me receber, me senti muito bem recebido. Começaram a me perguntar sobre meu ID no Hive, eu respondi que não fazia ideia do que era Hive. Então várias pessoas começaram a falar sobre Hive, uma pessoa chamada Carlyle era engraçada e chamou minha atenção. Apesar de explicar um pouco sobre a blockchain do Hive, ele costumava fazer muitas piadas, a maioria delas desnecessárias e sem graça para mim. Carlyle era como um bobo da corte. Mas ele sempre estava tentando me ajudar com muitas coisas na blockchain. Ele me enviou alguns tokens $PIZZA e também fez uma delegação para eu começar a blogar. Começamos a conversar em particular por mensagens diretas. Ele tinha muita experiência na blockchain, estava no Hive há 3-4 anos e também tinha uma boa quantidade de $PIZZA em jogo. Ele sonhava em comprar uma ilha quando o valor do Hive subir, levando o $PIZZA junto. Ficar rico com isso. Com todas essas conversas, comecei a me apaixonar. Embora morássemos em continentes diferentes, começamos a trocar algumas palavras carinhosas e senti que ele também me amava.
Carlyle made me get addicted to Hive and also to the Pizza discord. I started to be online more in the Hive Pizza server, I was talking with other nice people, and participating in the quiz events. But mostly I wanted to see Carlyle online every time that I was there, usually, he was.
Carlyle me fez ficar viciado no Hive e também no Discord da Pizza. Comecei a ficar mais online no servidor Hive Pizza, conversando com outras pessoas legais e participando dos eventos de quiz. Mas principalmente eu queria ver o Carlyle online sempre que eu estava lá, e geralmente ele estava.
One day that changed. I was there but I couldn't find him for the whole day. Maybe he would be there in the next day? So it passed 2, 3, 7 days and nothing. No notice, no news. Until a user called Rantree told me some important information! He found out that Carlyle powered down all his $PIZZA and sold it. He had thousands of them. In addition, he found a post, a small post with two paragraphs. A very angry post from one of Carlyle's accounts said that he was leaving Hive because he was mad that Hive whales were damaging the blockchain and he was tired of it, mostly because he had a project that didn't get his expected support. That was a surprise for me. Not even a goodbye? I thought that I had some value for him! No one from the Pizza server got a proper goodbye. After that, it has already passed a couple of months since that and I still think that something from my heart is gone.
Um dia isso mudou. Eu estava lá, mas não consegui encontrá-lo durante o dia todo. Talvez ele estivesse lá no dia seguinte? Então se passaram 2, 3, 7 dias e nada. Nenhuma notificação, nenhuma notícia. Até que um usuário chamado Rantree me deu algumas informações importantes! Ele descobriu que o Carlyle desativou todas as suas $PIZZA e as vendeu. Ele tinha milhares delas. Além disso, ele encontrou um post, um pequeno post com dois parágrafos. Foi uma surpresa para mim. Nem mesmo um adeus? Eu pensei que eu tivesse algum valor para ele! Ninguém do servidor Pizza recebeu um adeus adequado. Depois disso, já se passaram alguns meses desde então, e ainda sinto que algo do meu coração se foi.
