Greetings to all members of the community that always has room for a good slice of pizza. Today I want to introduce you to a hiver that I consider extraordinary. Her name is Marialin Valdés (@maylink) and she is a passionate writer and poet (that's how she describes herself) and for me, in this course of time that I have begun to know her, I consider her to be an exemplary woman who writes magic from her native Cuba, however, my friend is not only a writer, because she has the beautiful work of being a mother of three children (without forgetting that she is also a pizza lover, but I will bring you a special section to talk about that and a curious fact that I want to share with you about a type of pizza that I did not know).

Since she was a little girl, she has always found in books and writing her refuge and her means of expression. Dream after dream, word after word, everything has allowed her to transform her passion into reality... And recently, she published her first book of poetry with one of the most prestigious publishers in her country.

So for her, this achievement not only reflects her talent, but also her tireless dedication to her art.
And the fact is that @maylink's life is marked by creativity in all its forms. Her work at “la Casa de Cultura” as a methodologist of creative processes allows her to collaborate daily with talented instructors and artists. This role not only enriches her professional life, but also nurtures her passion for writing.
The best part of this whole experience is that, every day, @maylink has the opportunity to be inspired by the innovative ideas that emerge from this vibrant community and, of course, also to support others in their artistic journey. As she rightly expressed to me, once, that “managing creative processes is not only a job for me... because it really is a privilege”, an experience that fills her with enthusiasm for what she does.

And as you can see my friend is also a professional photographer (and I have to confess that I love these pictures of the sky so full of good energy and a bright future).
Since I always or almost always love to leave what unites us all for last, it's time for us to talk about pizza, because it is definitely also part of one of the great passions that my talented friend possesses.
And, as a good lover of this universal culinary language, she enjoys preparing it as much as sitting down to eat it without remorse, haha. Although she loves all pizzas, she has a special appreciation for mushroom and vegetable pizzas, without forgetting her beloved Cuban-style pizza...
And this is where I wanted to get to, because this is the first time I hear about this style of pizza (although I will also leave you the link where they talk more about it, the difference is in the thickness of the dough and the filling, where cheese predominates more).
For her, pizza is more than a meal; it is an experience that can be perfectly combined and enjoyed with a good coffee and a good conversation where humor is very present.
But that's not all, because as I love to ask questions, I also want to let you know that my friend, more than writing beautifully and having a good tooth for pizza, is also a great reader and art critic, but in a passionate way.
And if we talk about literature, she has a very special place both at home and in her heart for three literary jewels, such as: “En Nombre de la Rosa, Lord Jim by Conrad and La Isla Verso”, an anthology of Cuban poets.
Although her time is limited due to her responsibilities as a writer, methodologist and mother, she also feels a fascination for video games and cinema, so she hopes in the near future to be able to dedicate more time to them.

Another fact that could not escape me, is that her arrival to Hive was almost accidental, but since then she has found in this ecosystem a space to share what she is and what she does.
It was precisely thanks to her friends and mentors @claudiocruz and @yecier, that she has learned to “move with ease” in this environment, always with the goal of publishing content that inspires and connects, because her goal in Hive is definitely clear: to be part of a community that not only celebrates art, but also pushes people to be better.
So I'm sure that this creative and multifaceted soul will be able to bring a lot of value to this community... Besides, her ability to convey stories and connect with others, her talent and passion will make our community even more special.

Y es que la vida de @maylink está marcada por la creatividad en todas sus formas. Este rol no solo enriquece su vida profesional, sino que también nutre su pasión por la escritura.
Lo mejor de toda esta experiencia es que, cada día, @maylink tiene la oportunidad de inspirarse en las ideas innovadoras que emergen de esta comunidad tan vibrante y, por supuesto, también de apoyar a otros en su viaje artístico. Como bien me expresó, una vez, que “gestionar procesos creativos no solo es un trabajo para mí… porque realmente es un privilegio”, una experiencia que la llena de entusiasmo por lo que hace.

Y como pueden ver mi amiga también es fotógrafa profesional (tengo que confesarte que me encantaron estas fotos del cielo tan lleno de buena energía y un porvenir así de brillante).
Como lo que nos une a todos siempre o casi siempre me encanta dejarlo para el final, llegó el momento de que hablemos de pizza, porque definitivamente también forma parte de una de las grandes pasiones que mi talentosa amiga posee.
Y es que, como buena amante de este lenguaje universal culinario, ella disfruta tanto de prepararla como de sentarse a comerla sin remordimientos, jaja. Aunque todas las pizzas le encantan, tiene un especial aprecio por las de champiñones y vegetales, sin olvidarse de su amada pizza al estilo cubano…
Y aquí es donde quería llegar, porque es la primera vez que escucho este estilo de pizza (aunque también te voy a dejar el enlace donde se habla más de ella, la diferencia está en el grosor de la masa y en el relleno, donde predomina más el queso).
Para ella, la pizza es más que una comida; es una experiencia que puede combinarse y disfrutarse perfectamente con un buen café y una buena conversación donde el humor tenga mucha presencia.
Pero eso no es todo, porque como a mí me encanta preguntar, también quiero dejarles saber que mi amiga, más que escribir hermoso y tener buen diente para la pizza, también es una gran lectora y crítica de arte, pero de forma apasionada.

Otro dato que no se me podía escapar, es que su llegada a Hive fue casi accidental, pero desde entonces ha encontrado en este ecosistema un espacio para compartir lo que es y lo que hace.
Fue precisamente gracias a sus amigos y mentores @claudiocruz y @yecier, que ha aprendido a “moverse con soltura” en este ambiente, siempre con el objetivo de publicar contenido que inspire y conecte, porque definitivamente su objetivo en Hive es claro: ser parte de una comunidad que no solo celebra el arte, sino que también impulsa a las personas a ser mejores.
Así que estoy segura de que esta alma creativa y multifacética podrá aportar muchísimo valor a esta comunidad… Además, su capacidad para transmitir historias y conectar con los demás, su talento y su pasión harán que nuestra comunidad sea aún más especial.
