On this day, fifteen years ago, Laszlo Hanyecz, a man living in Florida, USA, bought two pizzas from Papa John's, paying 10,000 Bitcoin (BTC) for them.
Imagine that at that time, that transaction was worth approximately $40. Now, it would have exceeded $1.1 billion, considering that Bitcoin reached $109,000 for the first time in January 2025. Who would have imagined it? Absolutely crazy!
Now, can we at Hive ignore something so significant?
No! Of course not!
In more than hundred cities around the world, various hiver activities will be held to celebrate in style! And #Cuba is not far behind!

Un día como hoy, hace quince años, Laszlo Hanyecz, señor residente en la Florida, EEUU, compró dos pizzas a Papa John´s, pagando por ellas 10.000 Bitcoin (BTC).
Imagínense que en aquella época, esa transacción equivalía a unos 40 dólares aproximadamente. Ahora hubiese superado la cifra de 1.100 millones de dólares, considerando que el Bitcoin alcanzó los 109.000 dólares por primera vez en enero de 2025. ¿Quién lo iba a imaginar? ¡Una locura total!
Ahora, ¿nosotros en Hive podemos pasar por alto algo así tan significativo? ¡No! ¡Claro que no!
¡En más de cien ciudades de todo el mundo se estarán realizando actividades diversas entre hivers para celebrar a lo grande! ¡Y #Cuba no se queda atrás!
