If I'm not wrong, this is the second time I've tried this buggy on a race. I thought buying this car was a bad idea at first when I saw it didn't have enough speed at the beginning. But it proved me wrong later, and it proved its worth once again.
Today, it's about the Polaris RZR XP 1000 EPS 2015, and I tried it on the Tapalpa Trail.
A fast rally course that starts near the polytunnels of Granjas de Tapalpa, heading south over the many waterways of Cascadas de Agua Azul.
Seeing it's an off-route event, I used the buggy, though later I noticed it had less off-road than concrete.
There were a total of 12 racers, including me, and all the racers had buggies, different models though. There were more buggies similar to mine but the bad news was, there were some tiny buggies that are real fast.
It's a one-lap race, so I didn't have a chance to mess up. I started getting ahead of my similar buggies and towards the tiny one, which was leading. When I was checking how close I was to the first racer, I noticed there was another one who almost went ahead of me.
I changed my focus towards the buggy that was about to get ahead of me ignoring the first one and I kept bumping it till we reached close to the next checkpoint and it slowed down otherwise it'd miss the checkpoint for me.
After a good fight with that buggy when I went ahead of it at last, I opened the photo mode and I noticed every other racer was right behind me.
Another tiny buggy almost went ahead of me, but there was a hard turn, and there started the off-road, where she slowed down, but I didn't.
I drove at full speed on the off-road and I noticed my buggy was faster than the others on off-road, so I took this chance to get ahead and held the first position, and I kept leading them.
There was a concrete road again where I didn't slow a bit, but still, one of the tiny cars crossed me, but sadly for her, we reached another off-road.
The tiny car held the first position for a moment, but it slowed down when we had to cross some waterways, and I went to the first position again.
This time, I was not giving any of them a chance to get ahead of me again later so I drove the rest of the off-road carefully and as there were more waterways, I went a lot ahead of my competitors.
After crossing all the waterways of Cascadas de Agua Azul, I reached a town, and it looked festive for the race. I didn't slow down a bit cause the tiny cars still had a chance to gain speed getting off the off-road.
I kept following the track and I was calmed seeing another off-road at the end. When I was at the finishing line, I checked in the photo mode that there were no other racers seen. And I finished 1st in 3 minutes and 2 seconds.
