At sunset, I approached the Tomb of Khafre. Unlike the others, this pyramid held eerie passageways and unstable puzzles. Navigating hidden chambers, I found an ancient tablet inscribed with Old Kingdom texts.
I went for another pyramid next where lies Tomb of Khafre. The sun was going down when I was going for the pyramid and you can see the beautiful yellow-ish color for the sunset around.
After getting below the pyramid, I found it didn't have the same constructions like the other one. I had to climb up differently and after finding a hole which was an entrance to the tomb, I put out a torch.
I knew it'd be dark inside so I was prepared with the torch already and I started having this creepy vibe the more I was getting into through. And I found a dead end where someone offered a bull to worship what they thought as God.
I mentioned dead end cause I was not seeing any way through. I started looking around for a hole on the walls but there were not any so I threw the torch to see if it breaks anything but no luck.
Then I went back and found there was another path that went below the surface that I used earlier and that's why I didn't see this path. This did lead me to another chamber where I found a hole.
Then there was this boat-alike lever that I had to use to jump over but these levers are effected by the weight of objects on each side so it was not being steady when I was going to the other side to take the jump.
I found something moveable there luckily, and I moved it backward to block the lever from getting down when I walk on it and it worked just fine.
Then I found the ancient tablet that which was the main purpose of this tomb exploration. I didn't think I'd find this tablet this fast and easily but I did and I found ancient writing from the old kingdom, on the tablet.
It was time for me to get out of this shithole so I was going forward and suddenly slipped on that spot where I was not prepared for it.
When it felt like another dead end, I noticed I could climb up and I went out of the pyramid and it looked like the hidden surfaces took me afar from the pyramid already.
There was no synchronization zone above this pyramid but I still insisted on climbing up and look for the beautiful night scenes from that height.
It looked different at night and from this side. I could see more ruins, more pyramids and the sandstorm was still around, as if it was haunting me.
Then I was slipping down from the pyramid and I noticed there was another similar structured pyramid around and it was smaller in size. I'd go for that pyramid next.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
The screenshots are taken by me personally from my gameplay and I borrowed the game's logo from DevianArt.
