Rode out to Kanopos Lake to retrieve a sunken scroll. Returning it to Apollodorus, he trusted Bayek and revealed it was for Pompey to win Rome for Cleopatra. After meeting Cleopatra, we followed her to a secret chamber, talked about plans, and learned there are more snakes behind Bayek's son's death.
To retrieve the scroll that had sunk with a boat, I started riding my boat to the destination where the boat had sunk in Kanopos Lake.
Then I surveyed the place with Senu and marked the place where the boat had sunk. After marking the area, I jumped from my boat into the water.
After jumping into the water and diving deeper, I saw the sunken boat there. Then I went inside that boat and found a box there, and inside that box was the scroll. Then I retrieved the scroll and went up.
Then I got into my boat and rode back to Apollodorus, who was waiting for me. Bayek gave him the scroll and Apollodorus thanked him and said that he now trusts Bayek. He also added that the scroll was meant for the Roman general Pompey in an effort to sway Rome to Cleopatra's side.
Apollodorus jumped into the boat, and I got in with him. I had to take him to a villa, so I started riding my boat towards the villa through the lake.
I rode my boat for a while and finally was close to the villa. While riding to the villa, I really enjoyed the nighttime environment. Also, the small water plants were looking very realistic.
When we were close to the villa, I surveyed the whole area with Senu. I wanted to see how the place looked like and it seemed like a very big area. Then we got off my boat and were headed towards the villa, and Apollodorus was following me.
After reaching the villa, Apollodorus started leading the way and I kept following him. Apollodorus said that Bayek must need Cleopatra's approval, and he should bend the knee, then he would share his secrets.
When we went inside, I saw that there were many women dancing and the queen was talking with some people there. She was telling them she would sleep with anyone if they agreed to be executed in the morning.
The queen liked Bayek after seeing him. She wanted to make an offer to him, but then Bayek showed his wife. Bayek missed a big opportunity there. Like, who does not want to spend a night with a sexy queen?
Then, to have a secret conversation, Bayek, Aya, and Apollodorus followed Cleopatra to a secret chamber. While on their way, Apollodorus said something about the snake, and Bayek did not understand them.
When they went inside, they talked about many things. Also, they decided to send Bayek on a mission, and Bayek accepted that. He had also realized that the snake he had killed was not the only snake; there were more like him. Bayek took permission from Aya to go on the mission.
They stayed the night there and rested. In the morning, Bayek said goodbye to Aya, and he left the villa to work on his next mission.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
