Hola, querida comunidad de #humanitas, les saludo cordialmente a todos. Hace dos días me enteré de la iniciativa de la semana y quise preparar mi post de inmediato. Ya que la reflexión es un hábito para mí. En ente caso hablaremos del Miedo, una de las emociones que biológicamente tenemos como seres vivos de este planeta.

MÁS ALLÁ DEL MIEDO:

Quiero ir más allá del miedo por eso desmembraré el término según el concepto de mi cabeza. Y es que más allá de la sensación de malestar que nos puede generar el "miedo" hay una sensación de satisfacción cada que aparece como una alarma. Pero esta sensación de bienestar o calma no es innata del miedo sino que es una antesala o después de ella.
EL PUNTO DE CALMA
Para mí el miedo aparece como una puesta en escena para la toma de decisiones. Te impula a accionar o no. Pero al igual que la depresión tiene un estado de confort, también lo tiene el miedo. Y para entenderlo les hablaré de la alegoría de La Caverna, de Platón -espero que sepan la referencia o sino pueden buscarala-. En pocas palabras en la cueva o caverna hay dos tipos de personas:
- Uno que cree que la cueva es el mundo
- Otro que sabe que hay un mundo fuera de la caverna
Este tema tiene mucho para debatir. Lo cierto es que el sujeto que ve la realidad invita al otro a darse vuelta y ver el mundo que hay fuera de la cueva. Vamos a decir que el "miedo" a lo desconocido le invita a seguir a la cueva porque su cerebro no puede comprender que haya mucho más allá. De allí entonces hay una correlación con la comodidad que nos genera la decisión de no ir más allá de lo que nuestra comprensión permite. Por más que el sujeto insista que hay un mundo hermoso afuera de la cueva, aquel que solo ve sombras está cómodo.
Y digo todo lo anterior por un tema personal, yo tengo una fobia que es un miedo irracional, quizás sepa porqué nació pero se ha convertido en una pesadilla de la que no puedo escapar. Al principio me forzaba por enfrentarlo y simplemtente después reflexioné y dije: "no hay necesidad de enfrentarlo". Le temo y estoy cómoda mientras pueda controlar la aparición de ese animalito. Sé que no siempre será así, y debo asumir de cierta manera el malestar perturbable del miedo.
"Si algo te da miedo, no vayas por allí"

Estas 👆 frases nacidas desde el amor de algún familiar o algún ser querido buscan protegerte de algún hecho. Por lo tanto te plantea una situación de decisión. ¿Me arriesgaré con todo y miedo? ¿Será que realmente es malo? y así sucesivamente. Es allí cuando nace, para mí, el placer de decidir actuar con miedo. (Ya que me perdí la iniciativa de la semana pasada, lo hilaré con este 😄)
EL PLACER DEL MIEDO
No hay nada más placentero para mí que saltar hacia esa decisión "ansiada o inesperada" empapada de miedo. En muchas situaciones de la vida, la antesala del miedo está: Una presentación, una entrevista de trabajo, una boda, el nacimiento de un hijo, la lectura en voz alta, tu tesis de grado, una operación... el miedo es una emoción cotidiana. Está presente siempre. Y sin embargo, no nos detenemos a vivir. Hay quienes luchan con esa tortura de tener miedo a vivir. Eso está bien. A mí también me pasa. No obstante la adrenalina que se genera en mí al hacer algo con miedo, me encanta.
Aun recuerdo la sensación de miedo cuando grabé mi primer video para #hive. Pero el miedo no me quitó, en absoluto, el "placer" o la satisfacción de decir "lo hice", "lo logré" con miedo y todo. Así que hay una mezcla de sensaciones generadas por el miedo. No puedo decir que el miedo desaparece a medida que estás haciendo esa actividad que lo inflige, es más bien que el miedo me acompaña mientras hago dicha actividad. O sea, vas actuando con el miedo en ti y al terminar o lograr tu objetivo te invade la satifacción de decir:
¡Tuve miedo, pero lo hice!

For me, fear appears as a staging for decision making. It impels you to act or not. But just as depression has a state of comfort, so does fear. And to understand it I will talk to you about the allegory of Plato's Cave -I hope you know the reference or if not you can look it up-. In short, in the cave or cavern there are two types of people:
- One who believes that the cave is the world
- One who knows that there is a world outside the cave
There is much to debate on this subject. What is certain is that the subject who sees reality invites the other to turn around and see the world outside the cave. Let's say that the "fear" of the unknown invites him to follow the cave because his brain cannot understand that there is much beyond. From there then there is a correlation with the comfort generated by the decision not to go beyond what our understanding allows. No matter how much the subject insists that there is a beautiful world outside the cave, the one who only sees shadows is comfortable.
And I say all the above because of a personal issue, I have a phobia that is an irrational fear, maybe I know why it was born but it has become a nightmare from which I can not escape. At first I forced myself to face it and then I simply reflected and said: "there is no need to face it". I fear it and I am comfortable as long as I can control the appearance of that little animal. I know that it will not always be like that, and I must assume in a certain way the disturbing discomfort of fear.

These 👆 phrases born from the love of a family member or loved one seek to protect you from some fact. Therefore, it presents you with a decision situation: Will I take the risk with everything and fear? Is it really bad? and so on. That's when, for me, the pleasure of deciding to act in fear is born. (Since I missed last week's initiative, I'll thread it with this one 😄).
THE PLEASURE OF FEAR
There is nothing more pleasurable for me than jumping into that "longed-for or unexpected" decision steeped in fear. In many situations in life, the antechamber of fear is there: A presentation, a job interview, a wedding, the birth of a child, reading aloud, your senior thesis, an operation... fear is an everyday emotion. It is always present. And yet, we don't stop to live. There are those who struggle with that torture of being afraid to live. That's okay. It happens to me too. However the adrenaline rush I get from doing something with fear, I love it.
I still remember the feeling of fear when I shot my first video for #hive. But the fear didn't take away, at all, the "pleasure" or satisfaction of saying "I did it", "I made it" scared and all. So there's a mix of fear-generated senations. I cannot say that fear disappears as you are doing the activity that inflicts it, it is rather that fear accompanies me while I am doing that activity. In other words, you are acting with fear in you and when you finish or achieve your objective you are invaded by the satisfaction of saying:
I was afraid, but I did it!
