Props on the drone freezing?
I was flying in the cold conditions before, but looks like it was never this humid. Fist i thought it is the fog messing with something but then i saw ice forming on propellers. Ice is probably messing up the aerodynamics of props as the drone does not just stop, it starts to drop down and you have no control of it.
Sensors also can't do anything. My Dji mini has only ground sensors (down facing sensors), but it can't do anything because there is no lift in the props. And it is funny that sometimes when it hits the ground it bounces and continue to try to fly. Probably because it shakes of some of the ice. Maybe the best solution is to just cut the motors just above the ground?
Is ice on drone propellers also a problem for bigger drones? Anything like this happened to you? Is there something that you can apply on props so they don't gather moisture?
