Last Tuesday was office day again. Back-to-back meetings from 8:30 to 16:15. Iām talking āblink and youāre behind scheduleā kind of day. And before you say āwell at least there was a lunch breakāālet me stop you. That lunch break was more like a hostage negotiation with my calendar app.
But hereās the thing: while most people retreat to sandwiches and passive-aggressive Slack messages, I took a different path... literally.
š® The Escape Plan: Air2S Launch Sequence Initiated
Iād already flown the DJI Mini 3 Pro a few times en route to the officeāyou know, just warming up. But this time, it was serious. I stepped out during lunch, walked a solid kilometer like a man on a mission (probably confusing some cows), and launched the DJI Air2S into the skies like Tony Stark escaping a board meeting.
Why the Air2S? Because over open farm fields, I donāt need special clearance. I am the clearance. And also because sometimes, you just need to look at dirt from 120 meters up to remind yourself that not everything needs to be in a damn spreadsheet.
š¾ The Fields: A Masterclass in Earthās Calm-Down Mode
Now letās talk about these fields.
- Shot #1: Straight lines so perfect theyād make a German engineer blush. Earth doing its version of minimalist interior design.
- Shot #2ā3: Perspective for days. You can almost hear the soil whisper, āYouāre not the center of the universe, Chad.ā
- Shot #4: Railroad track slicing through green like it's trying to escape the algorithm too.
- Shot #5: A tractor mid-action, the real MVP of productivity. Meanwhile, Karenās still stuck in a Teams call about synergy.
- Shot #6: One lone tree. Zero noise. Peak existential inspiration. Natureās version of āone man against the system.ā
š§ The Lesson: Find Your Damn Reset Button
Hereās the Gary Vee punchline: Youāve got to build micro-moments of peace into your chaosāor the chaos will build you into a monument of burnout. Take your 15 minutes. Fly your drone. Stare at the horizon like youāre filming your personal brand documentary. It matters.
And hereās the Bilyeu cherry on top: If youāre not creating mental clarity, youāre robbing yourself of long-term impact. Mission-driven work doesnāt mean martyrdom, folks.
šø Bonus: Drone Footage, But Make It Therapy
These shots arenāt just prettyātheyāre a reminder that peace isnāt passive. Youāve gotta fly for it. Chase it. Photograph it. Post about it if youāre feeling spicy. Because a 10-minute drone flight over silent fields beats 10 minutes of scrolling through someoneās ālook at my new productivity hackā post.
TL;DR
I flew a drone over some fields. It was awesome. And no, it wasnāt just escapism. It was strategy. Because sometimes, a freshly plowed line in a potato field teaches you more about alignment than a day full of calendar invites ever could.
