Last June 28…
It was a gloomy weather when I woke up that day. I was expecting something, a greeting or maybe a surprise?
It was my 18th birthday. There’s nothing especial happened, just another ordinary day.
That day, I started my morning with some breakfast. Then my mother suggested that we should go buy some clothes for me. The clothes in my closet can literally be counted, so I really needed a few more, especially since I’m going to college soon, and most likely, there won’t be any uniforms. I needed some clothes that I can wear .
We went to the mall and found a ukay-ukay (thrift shop). I wasn’t expecting much, but that they had a lot of good clothes. I search for a few minutes and found some pants and t-shirts.
The prices of their clothes are so cheap! Most of the items ranged from $3 to $5 each. Plus, the quality is still in good.
My mother and brother also picked up some pants and shorts for themselves. All in all, we spent no more than $20. It was a good purchase and totally worth it.
Although, some of the pants I got were too long for me, so I needed to go to the tailor’s shop to get them shortened.
We also looked at other stores, however we only got a few good items.
It was so tiring walking around and looking for clothes. Our feet felt so tired and really needed a break.
I was also craving something from the McDonald’s menu. I ordered one of their new McFloat flavors and some fries, while my brother got a McFlurry. Unfortunately, the new McFloat flavors were not available, so I ended up having a Coke Float.
We finished our food while chatting. It was just a short moment, but it was fun and memorable. But before we went home, we got a scoop of ice cream on our way.
