Actually, Islamabad film society took an initiative to make cinema accessible to everyone. I never been to cinema that's why i was very excited to watch any movie in gathering. I paid 250 PKR and confirmed my seat in the event.
I booked my motorbike on an app and then reached to mentioned place. It was ground of community library and gym.
I reached on time but movie wasn't started yet. I stood there silently and observing people. It was my solo experience to feel full of myself and to make new friends from different dimensions of life.
At first, I was quite reserved and shy to talk to anyone but after a while, I became extrovert and started conversation with people around me. I was going from one person to another and talking to them. These people were really nice in their conversations.
They confirmed my ticket by cross checking screenshot of my payment. To confirm my seat, they stamped on my veins. I was confirmed.
Meanwhile, the management was setting the projector and excitement was waving up in the heart. I was eager to sit down under the shadows of trees in the drowning time of sun. It was beautiful environment that was taking place around me.
We sat down and started watching movie. At first, the selected movie was "Song of Sparrow" that is an Iranian movie but due to some technical issues they decided to show a bollywood movie.
The movie that started was "Ankhoon Dekhi". I wasn't expecting much from this movie. But, We all were laughing from time to time. I was cracking jokes in between.
The movie is about re-living and re-experiencing the life. It also redefines the life based on lived experiences .Although, movie was funny but it confused me and generated many questions in my mind.
Whether we should re-experience the life or re-live the life?
Should we eradicate all those things that we learned from our society and should start learning all these things on our own experience?
I enjoyed the movie and after movie i was hungry to eat something. I thought to go back hostel but then i decided to have lavish dinner.
No one was with me. It was only me and me. My thoughts and I were companion in that time.
Although, I thought to have lavish feast but my budget was short of 900 ruppee. I borrowed 100 rupee from my best friend @moaz-sabir and made a transaction of 1000 rupee.
I was confused about what to eat and what not to eat?
I had two options;
1-Zinger Burger
2-Biryani of Khaby ki Siji
Finally, I decided to have Biryani from Desi Restaurant Khabby ki Siji. I was mentally prepared that restaurant gonna be expensive for me. But, i was ready to have lavish feast with my lavish thoughts. It is all about experience and living the life. Don't remain worry about money. Money is superficial. Your smile and life is more important.
After climbing up so many stairs, I reached Khabby ki Siji. At first, i washed my hands over there and asked the rates of items from a waiter over there. Once i confirmed that everything is in my budget then i went inside the restaurant.
The environment of restaurant was very desi, village type and colorful. Mild urdu and hindi songs were being played. I was listening to songs and waiting for waiter to come and take my order.
As i mentioned that it was only me & me. So, it is really a unique experience. Many times, people of my acquaintance ask me that how i enjoy moments alone?
May be they aren't aware of true definition of being happy. Happiness comes from within. You are holding full universe inside you. Just explore.
It took hardly five mintues in delivering order. It was biryani infront of me. A chest piece of chicken was resting infront of my eyes on yellow, white, delicious, spicy rice. It's what we call biryani but it is more than that. It is emotion of South Asian People.
After having dinner, I paid the bill that was 764 Rupee. Quite expensive for me but it was totally worth to experience such lavish time.
I came out of the restaurant and booked my ride back to hostel. It was a special day when i watched movie among people. It was my first time cinema experience and also solo exploration.
Lovely 😍
See you next 💫
