This year we got 10 more trees. 3 Chokecherry, 6 Hawthornes and we also planted one "unknown bush" that seems to do well without much water and can stand the harsh conditions at our house. This bush is also a vine - I wish I knew what it was but I will continue trying to figure it out.
I need to make sigils for the new trees and I need to remake sigils for the other trees because the ones I made last year faded to nothing.
The 2 pine trees that we did not enclose in boxes were eaten, presumeabley by wild Antelope or Deer so this year we enclosed all the new trees in boxes, and in addition, we made "watering boxes" around each box to hold more water or snow in.
All the trees that had sigils that were outside in boxes survived and thrived.
The one maple in the house did not make it. This year we have one other Chokecherry in the house.
This year we are also going to grow Sea Buckthorn Bushes at home to landscape our front yard and because the fruit is a Superfood. More about that later.
I just went through and named all the New Trees tonight and made Sigils for them - here are a few...
The sigils say "I am a chokecherry and I grow strong and tall to glorify God." or "I am a hawthorne..." or "I am a vinebush..." or "I am a maple" or "I am a hackberry" or "I am a columnar oak" - and then the "stems" are the individual names of the trees that I made that are partially their species with a little individual ending on it to differentiate them.
They are numbered by how they are laid out in the yard so that I can map them out and find the correct one for each sigil.
The next step is to finish cleaning these up - print them and laminate them so that they can be hung on the boxes of the trees either this weekend or next weekend.
Then, I will set about making a new painting like the one I made last year.
I now finally understand the message of the skull in this painting from last year!
It is telling me that what I am doing here with the sigils IS the true purpose of ART. I am using the Sigils to communicate with Nature to help the plants grow better. I have learned this year that Art must have a spiritual purpose otherwise it is an egregore and I am not interested in participating in that... Once Art has served it's purpose, it should not be "kept around" - instead it should dissolve into hummus - ashes to ashes and dust to dust. Otherwise it is a shell of the original spirit and this is a dark occult temptation.
But this painting and these sigils have a long term purpose, to help the trees grow out at this property where strong winds and arctic temperatures can rage through the winter.
Our prayers are needed to grow these trees. I am drawing in from the Aether and spelling out the purpose... not taking art out of context.
