It's funny how, days after creating a blog series ( and thus an opening to post on here more regularly ), I pretty much stopped blogging, once again.
It's now 5 days since my last post and my creativity seems to have gone out of the window
as if it has gone on a holiday
I am really not the kind of writer who writes for the sake of writing and I honestly haven't been creating a lot ( which is a huge understatement ), since last Thursday, so I didn't feel like blogging much at all.
Also, in all honesty, I was basically living life and spending most of my time outdoors with and without others.
I probably spent half of my time in and or next to the river, on different river beaches in the area. And, one day, in the private river beach bordering the land of my former neighbors.
Not too shabby, right?
We're also experiencing the first serious heatwave of the year, here in Portugal, and the high temperature kind of cooks my brain.
Had I been Hannibal Lecter, I would enjoy it with a nice Chianti.
Tonight, for the first time in a couple of weeks, I decided to open bitsy game maker, to have a little bit of fun with my mini game ( related to my books ), working title:
Hypersensitivosaurus and Cold Turkey.
I basically felt like playing around with the chiptune audio composition tool and that's what I did: dragging my mouse around and clicking on a bunch of different icons, while listening to the tune 'loop'ing around.
It was fun and exactly what I needed.
For those of you who just want to have a sense of what I did ( don't expect anything brilliant but it might actually make you smile ), I just uploaded the latest version of my game, that you can find here:

Aside from my brain, I am also cooking up another podcast episode with @clareartista.
Interestingly enough, Clare and I plan to discuss how too much time spent with others can lead to getting out of creative mode and vice versa ( how too much time spent in creative mode can lead to a meagre social life or in other words the topic of what some would call 'work-life balance'.
Both of us have a lot to say about this, so stay tuned...
Oh and if you haven't already listened to our previous conversation on creativity and the book creation process, you can find that one here. I also recommend listening to Clare's Art of Life podcast, I myself love it, especially her powerful personal stories, going back all the way to her childhood. She posted a brand new episode today!
Creative Greetings
