This is a follow up to Play With Clay
And unlike the title suggests, it was more like All Walk and Some Clay, as I brought my molding clay along with me on this afternoon's hike.
It had rained last night and I couldn't help but notice some puddles on the usually dry track.
One of these puddles drew my attention and I decided to take a closer look.
I spotted what seemed to be a little humanoid creature.
Small as it was, I found it hard to read its face.
Was it smiling or was it feeling desperate.
On closer inspection, it seemed kind of happy.
Perhaps it was an amphibian, merely chilling in the water for a bit.
At the same time, I couldn't help but sense that it might need a hand,
just to get out of this sticky situation.
Let's be honest, who wouldn't rescue such a cute looking thing?
As soon as I offered my hand ( without having to sacrifice it on an altar, luckily ), I discovered that I had been tricked.
The thing had been an opticial illusion.
What I had seen, in front of me, was a head-like piece of clay.
And, worse of all, what had seemed to be its arm and hand, appeared to be a turd.
What a shitty reward for what I thought might have been me rescuing a tiny humanoid from drowning!
Perhaps this turd had been the reason all along for the smile on its face?
Was it perhaps a smile of anticipation, knowing that someone would fall for its dirty joke?
One thing needed to be said, limbless and corpseless as it was, this head had a shitty sense of humor - but a sense of humor nevertheless.
Something that is needed now more than ever ;<)
Hope you enjoyed part 2 of Diarrhea of a Creative!
I sure had fun creating this little story :<)
