El Evento del Territorio de Creadores N° 23 de Lords Mobile empezó hace días. Para esta ocasión, quise dibujar a dos de mis héroes favoritos: Ícaro, el Cuervo Nocturno y Coral, la Cantante Marina.
Coral es una sirena mientras que Ícaro es mitad humano, mitad ave. La historia que se cuenta en el juego de estos dos personajes es muy poca, pero trágica: Ícaro, queriendo que su amiga Coral le acompañara en sus aventuras, le entrega una pócima que la convertiría en humana pero ella no estaba muy convencida de tomar esa decisión. Mientras se encontraba en este dilema, fue capturada y para no morir terminó tomando la poción, la cual le quitó sus habilidades de vivir bajo el agua. Desde entonces, Coral sueña con volver a casa e Ícaro, cargando con la culpa de que su acción pudo costarle la vida a su amiga, busca la forma de redimirse.
Así que decidí hacer una versión humana de ellos en una cita de Día de San Valentín. Quise que conservaran muchas de las características de sus versiones originales así que adecué el traje de Coral a su nueva versión y eliminé el cinturón de conchas marinas y perlas que usa, ya que se vería muy cargado.
En el caso de Ícaro, conservé la paleta de colores para su traje. Ya que los había sacado de contexto del juego al convertirlos en una versión humana, quise hacer una ambientación más real y que sugiriera un ambiente para una cita romántica.
Fue divertido jugar con la ambientación nocturna y la iluminación. Siempre es bueno experimentar nuevas formas de lograr el resultado.

Lords Mobile Creator Turf Event No. 23 started days ago. For this occasion, I wanted to draw two of my favorite heroes: Icarus, the Night Raven and Coral, the Songstress of the Sea.
Coral is a mermaid while Icarus is half human, half bird. The story told in the game of these two characters is very little, but tragic: Icarus, wanting his friend Coral to accompany him on his adventures, gives her a potion that would turn her into a human but she was not very convinced to take that. decision. While she was in this dilemma, she was captured and in order not to die she ended up taking the potion, which took away her ability to live underwater. Since then, Coral dreams of returning home and Icarus, bearing the guilt that his action could have cost her friend´s life, seeks a way to redeem himself.
So I decided to make a human version of them on a Valentine's Day date. I wanted them to keep many of the characteristics of the original versions of her so I adapted Coral's outfit to the new version and I removed the seashell and pearl belt that she wears, since she would look very stuffy.
In the case of Icarus, I kept the color palette for his outfit. Since I had taken them out of the context of the game by turning them into a human version, I wanted to make the ambience more realistic and suggest a setting for a romantic date.
It was fun to play with the night setting and the lighting. It is always good to experiment with new ways to achieve the result.
