Wow what a busy Sunday I had this week.
I got up early and had a coffee whilst setting up for my live stream for Crypto Shots Saturday 3pm EST tournament. Yes you read that right. I am in Australia and we are 15 hours ahead of New York and the rest of the places in the EST timezone. So for me it is 5am in the morning on Sunday and my day is just beginning.
From 6am to 7am I live streamed the Crypto Shots tournament. The following was the results:
Playing in the tournament is always a lot of fun and I enjoyed hosting it this week. Moving forward I will be hosting the tournament in this time slot, 3pm EST.
Here is a link to my Livestream over on twitch:
At the end of my stream I had to run as I had organised to build an orange sculpture for work down the Main Street. In October each year we have our Spring festival and we have a lot of events on. The building of orange Sculptures down the Main Street marks the beginning of the festivities and is something that is enjoyed by both te locals and tourists alike.
First I had to go to work and get the sculpture down the street so that we can start putting the oranges on. Once we got it there with some help from a friend and his trailer. Our team members and I put the oranges on our sculpture. Our sculpture is very tall and we needed ladders to reach the top. It was a lot of work to plan and build but we finished it just before midday which was lucky as I had a family event also planned for lunch.
Lunch was very laidback as it was just a bbq. We all bring a few things and have lunch together every now and then. It is great to catch up with my family even though I was tired by this stage of the day.
The bbq was out the lake where I have previously mentioned in my posts. We have been coming here quite a lot as it easy for us to catch up over lunch and the weather has been nice. The lake is also just a nice spot to relax with nice views and animals around. Some of the birds have gotten very used to humans and don’t even mind getting up close to try get some food off you.
After Lunch we headed back into town we decided to take the kids to see the orange sculptures. I was very tired by this stage, but I did not know when we would have time to take the kids to see them and it was a good idea as they had fun. After walking through the orange sculptures that had been built, we stopped to have some Ice cream. The kids loved it and then it was time to go home for dinner and bed.
If you every get a chance to visit Griffith, New South Wales, Australia. You should come this time of the year and see the orange displays and enjoy all the events on in town.
Thanks for reading my post,
Have a great day!
