The value of our love

Allow them to keep what was taken from you. If you gave love and they walked away, let them keep it.

If you shared your time and they left, allow them to hold on to those memories... If you dedicated days, months, or even years of your life, let them take with them all the love you offered them during that time.

Don't fight to get it back, don't demand it back saying, ‘You owe me,’ why would you want it back?

You have the incredible ability to generate more of the same. Allow those who need it to keep it.

We must understand that the value of our love does not depend on what others do with it.

Let them keep what you once gave them. Perhaps they needed it, perhaps it transformed their lives. You cannot take it away from them.

How wonderful, isn't it? Even if all they left you with was pain, you allowed them to take something as pure as love.
