Today, at our jewelry-making class, we had a special moment that made the afternoon even more enjoyable. Among wires, beads, and tools, we took a break to celebrate the birthday of one of our friends in the group. There's nothing better than working in good company, with freshly brewed coffee and a delicious apple pie made by another classmate that stole the show.
The pie was spectacular: the crust was golden and fluffy, the apples were crisp and juicy, and it had that touch of cinnamon that I personally love. I couldn't resist asking for the recipe because, besides how delicious it was, it was so beautifully presented that it was a pleasure just to look at it.

Hoy, en nuestro encuentro del curso de bisutería, tuvimos un momento especial que hizo la tarde aún más bonita. Entre alambres, cuentas y herramientas, nos dimos un espacio para celebrar el cumpleaños de una de las amigas del grupo. Nada más rico que acompañar el trabajo con buena compañía, café recién hecho y un delicioso pie de manzana que hizo otra compañera y que se robó todas las miradas.
El pie estaba espectacular: la masa, doradita y esponjosa, las manzanas, crujientes y jugosas, y ese toque de canela que a mí, personalmente, me encanta. No pude resistirme a pedir la receta, porque, además de lo rico que estaba, quedó tan bonito presentado que daba gusto solo mirarlo.

The best part was sharing that little bit of joy in the middle of our workshop. Between laughter, anecdotes, and our hands busy with our jewelry projects, the coffee and pie were the perfect excuse to take a break and celebrate life, which is what it's all about at the end of the day.
Of course, I already have the recipe saved, and as soon as I try it at home, I'll share it here so you can enjoy it too. There's nothing more beautiful than those moments where creativity and love come together.

Lo mejor de todo fue compartir ese pedacito de alegría en medio de nuestro taller. Entre risas, anécdotas y las manos ocupadas en nuestros proyectos de bisutería, el café y el pie fueron la excusa perfecta para hacer una pausa y celebrar la vida, que es de lo que se trata al final del día.
Por supuesto, ya tengo la receta guardada, y en cuanto la pruebe en casa, la voy a compartir por acá para que ustedes también puedan disfrutarla. No hay nada más bonito que esos momentos donde la creatividad y el cariño se mezclan.
