When I saw the advertisement for Crepes & Waffles' seasonal ice cream called Amore Mio, I couldn't help but get excited. The description said it all: dulce de leche ice cream with chocolate and a subtle hint of coffee. As soon as I saw it, I texted it to my daughter with a “Look at this!”. Little did I know that hours later she would show up at the store with a big smile, a container of Amore Mio and a pack of wafers to share.

Cuando vi la publicidad del helado de temporada de Crepes & Waffles llamado Amore Mío, no pude evitar emocionarme. La descripción lo decía todo: helado de dulce de leche con chocolate y un sutil toque de café. Apenas lo vi, se lo envié a mi hija por mensaje con un “¡Mira esto!”. No me imaginé que horas después aparecería en el negocio con una gran sonrisa, un envase de Amore Mío y un paquete de barquillas para compartir.

I loved her gesture. I felt that he wanted to please me immediately, as if he had read between the lines of my message the craving. I valued and appreciated her sweetness, and that detail of thinking of me, touched me deeply. I didn't hesitate for a second and I started to prepare the ice cream as soon as I saw the ice cream.
And now, honestly, I can't fairly describe what I tasted. Although I am not a dulce de leche lover, Amore Mio is a delight that exceeds all expectations. The creaminess of the dulce de leche blends perfectly with chocolate, and that touch of coffee gives it an intense and addictive flavor. I love the combination of chocolate and coffee, and here it is taken to another level.
That moment, sharing a new ice cream with my daughter and my husband at the store was a sweet pause, a moment of connection and affection that I will keep with a taste of Amore Mio.
Me encantó su gesto. Sentí que quiso complacerme de inmediato, como si hubiese leído entre las líneas de mi mensaje el antojo. Valoro y agradezco su dulzura, y ese detalle de pensar en mí, me conmovió profundamente. No lo dudé ni un segundo y me dispuse a preparar las barquillas en cuanto vi el helado.
Y ahora, sinceramente, no puedo describir con justicia lo que probé. Aunque no soy amante del dulce de leche, Amore Mío es una delicia que supera toda expectativa. La cremosidad del dulce de leche se mezcla perfectamente con chocolate, y ese toque de café le da un sabor intenso y adictivo. Amo la combinación de chocolate y café, y aquí está llevada a otro nivel.
Ese momento, compartiendo un helado nuevo con mi hija y mi esposo en el negocio fue una pausa dulce, un instante de conexión y cariño que guardaré con sabor a Amore Mío.
