Greetings, my dear friends, I hope this weekend is one of rest and well-being for everyone.
It's Saturday, and one of the household chores I enjoy most during the weekend is spending time with my plants. For me, taking care of them goes beyond a simple chore, it's certainly a lifestyle I love.
The Saturday habit I have been practicing for years of watering them, removing dry leaves and making sure they are healthy gives me a special connection with nature and watching them grow, well cared for, gives me a sense of tranquility and well-being.
Having plants in my house makes me very happy. For me it is indispensable because I feel that they add beauty to the spaces in my home, and also make every corner feel pleasant and my house feel cozy. For this reason, when I arrived in Bogota I was worried because I didn't have a little plant and I needed it very much.
The first few months, I felt the house cold and empty until my daughter gave me the first one. After that, I bought others and since then my house changed, I feel, pleasantly, the warmth that plants give me and, in addition, I enjoy the benefit that they give me, purifying and oxygenating the environment.
I water these plants weekly, with little water because of the cold weather and when there are sunny days, I take them out to the terrace for a while. The Happiness stick and Mother-in-law's tongue are big and beautiful.
Soon I will buy other plants because for me, these are not enough (laughs).
A few months ago I was given a cactus that I am watching grow beautiful and healthy. Precisely, this publication was inspired by Nano, the cactus that was given to me and to which I gave that name because it was tiny, dwarf. Every month, on the 25th, it has to be watered and I do not forget because it is a commitment that I keep in mind to maintain it with the care it deserves.
This type of plants is very delicate, but they are easy to maintain, following the watering schedule, for example. I love this Nano and now I want more. So I have to buy others and, also, some succulents.
Having plants and taking care of them, besides a lifestyle, is a great responsibility and a commitment that I assume with love. Plants, as well as pets, have been part of my life for years.

Saludos, mis queridos amigos, espero que este fin de semana sea de descanso y bienestar para todos.
Es sábado, y una de las labores domésticas que más disfruto durante el fin de semana es dedicar tiempo a mis plantas. Para mí, cuidar de ellas va más allá de una simple tarea, sin duda es un estilo de vida que amo.
El hábito sabatino que practico, desde hace años, de regarlas, de quitarles las hojitas secas y asegurarme de que estén saludables me proporciona una conexión especial con la naturaleza y contemplarlas creciendo, bien cuidadas, me regala una sensación de mucha tranquilidad y bienestar.
Tener plantas en mi casa me hace muy feliz. Para mí es indispensable porque siento que ellas le aportan belleza a los espacios de mi hogar, y también hacen que cada rincón se sienta agradable y mi casa se sienta acogedora. Por esto, al llegar a Bogotá estaba inquieta porque no tenía una plantita y la necesitaba mucho.
Los primeros meses, sentí la casa fría y vacía hasta que mi hija me regaló la primera. Luego de eso, compré otras y desde entonces mi casa cambió, siento, placenteramente, el calorcito que dan las plantas y, además, gozo del beneficio que ellas me regalan, purificando y oxigenando el ambiente.
A estas plantas las riego semanalmente, con poca agua por el clima frío y cuando hay días de sol, las saco un ratito a la terraza. El Palo de la felicidad y la Lengua de suegra están grandes y bellas.
Pronto compraré otras plantitas porque para mí, estas no son suficientes (risas).
Hace unos meses me regalaron un cactus que estoy viendo crecer hermoso y sano. Justamente, esta publicación me la inspiró Nano, el cactus que me regalaron y al que le puse ese nombre porque estaba pequeñito, enano, pues. Cada mes, el día 25, le toca riego y no me olvido porque es un compromiso que tengo bien presente para mantenerlo con los cuidados que amerita.
Este tipo de plantas es muy delicado, pero son fáciles de mantener, siguiendo el esquema de riego, por ejemplo. Este Nano me encanta y ahora quiero más. Así que tengo pendiente comprar otros y, también, unas suculentas.
Tener plantas y cuidarlas, además de un estilo de vida, es una gran responsabilidad y un compromiso que asumo con amor. Las plantas, así como las mascotas, son parte de mi vida desde hace años.
