Hello my Hiver’s family!
Welcome to my relaxing escape into the countryside. In this video I’ve created, I’ll show you the traditional Filipino nipa house that symbolizes our cultural heritage and way of living in rural areas of the Philippines. ‧🌳 ༘♡🍃
As we start, I can definitely say that the countryside offers a lot to us, a relaxing contrast to a busy life in an urban area or city. It gives a reconnection with nature and enjoys the peaceful pace of living. The Bahay Kubo that you can see here is a traditional Filipino architecture made from natural materials; it is really sustainable.
Let me explain to you what Bahay Kubo is: it is known as nipa hut, and it symbolizes the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the Filipino people. The materials that are used to make this nipa hut, or Bahay Kubo, are lightweight bamboo and nipa palm. It is environmentally friendly and also adaptable to climate. As you can see, the nipa hut is an elevated structure; the purpose of that is to help the structure protect itself from flooding and pests too. It has natural ventilation because of its open design, which keeps the interior cool. The roof of Bahay Kubo has a rustic appeal to the home; it is made of nipa palm.
Bahay Kubo is not just about shelter; I can say that it is a lifestyle rooted in sustainability, simplicity, and community. Here in rural areas, my daily routine revolves around farming, fishing, and other nature-based activities. The simplicity of life allows me to appreciate the small joys, such as walking through the fields or dancing while listening to my favorite song.
Whether you are looking for an inspiration for a simple life or maybe curious about Filipino culture, this video offers a glimpse of living in the countryside of the last frontier. The Bahay Kubo and peaceful countryside. I can say that every day is a reminder that simple life can offer joy to our lives.
Thank you so much, my Hiver's family, for watching this video. I hope you enjoy it! See you next time. 💚🏕️🌿🌲🌳☘️
